I really want Oshae back and I want him to get more minutes. I guess the circumstances just don't favor him much. Very doubtful that Hauser's minutes will go down. And behind Brissy is Walsh, who's showing great potential and will be for cheap for the next couple of years. And then we drafted another wing who seems to be ready to play as well. So it looking more and more like Brissy will be gone. Hopefully I'm wrong. Remember the gm said they will bring everybody back, so there's a bit of hope there.
I really want jd and Jordan Walsh to have some run! Especially early season!

@@cobrakaiworld23 What would Hayward offer at this point? Some offense from our backup wing? We have JT and JB starting, and right behind them are Hauser and, very probably, Baylor Sheierman. I kinda think that Baylor has a good chance to take all of Svi's minutes, and in a perfect world, be so good that he will fight Hauser for some minutes.

masslive already reported brad is not using the 15th spot as per his usual in the offseason. no chance for svi and brissy. he will keep it open for trade deadline/buyout market.
baylor is not just better than svi. hes better than brissy. potentially baylor is even better than pp and sam.
and yes, Brad is more likely to not use the roster spot to minimize the luxury tax and keep the option of ducking the 2nd apron this year open (salary dump pp and springer for picks). no need to pay tons of money for a guy who will sit on the end of the bench as a 15th man. especially with new owners coming in.
lets be hones, we barely used both last year and got decent replacements who will need PT this year in baylor and anton. Walsh is also going to need his path to be less blocked.

The only guy from the outside who I have any interest in, and could be signed realistically, would be Marcus Morris, Sr. There are other guys I want of course, but all we can offer is the vet minimum. The thing about Brad signing nothing but our own guys is that he knows the ones we have on our own team, he knows they can play together.

I wouldn't mind seeing Brissett come back. Svi does nothing for me, let him move on. Neither one is critical to the team's success, but I think Brissett is more likely to contribute meaningful minutes where as Svi operates solely with a mop.
Delano Banton was getting 30 minutes on a last place team. I guess Brissett has to make the same choice: Do you want to play, or do you want to win?
I could see Baylor S. starting by the end of the year as the third wing on a starting five! Its positionless basketball! Having three wings on the floor is insane. Celtics got lucky drafting Schierman. The kid from Gonzaga might be the sleeper pick of the draft. I think the wild card through all this is whether Mazzula develops a rotation of more than 8 players. I’m not going to watch that because its a recipe for overuse injuries. No excuse not to have a rotation of 10-11 players, especially considering the unicorn and elder statesman on the team.
We need a center let them both leave. Get theis back or someone like that 💯

I will say it again celtics need a different kind of player on their roster, a maverick, a high energy, no nonsense, big man attitude like Charles Oakley but has that Al green delivery. They are coming to rub our face in it.

The Celts don't "need" that player you describe because they just crushed the NBA for the chip with their existing roster. Would it be nice to have a Charles Oakley type? Sure. But they have only the vet minimum to offer at this point. Can you name a couple of guys who would fit your description and still come for the vet minimum? Because I can't.
