More please. So I’d been shopping for another fretless after parting out my last one…intrigued by dent and scratch for $150 off-was ready to pull the trigger when it jumped to $250. What do you think-Am wavering between going back to tape wounds, trying something super bright or trying these new “super polished” La Bella AND they have to string through the body. Except for a maple fingerboard it’s outside of what am normally looking for…respect the Music Man style and Leo making em happen but never wanted one & the only Sire I’ve played before was a P but was impressed.
@Redbeard4321 I am a big fan of LaBella deep talkin flats. I have them on all four of my basses. Never have I tried tape wounds. Two of my basses string through the body. I find just a bit more tension on those. I like the tension. I used to use roundwounds, but not anymore. The smooth feel of flats is what I like.
👋 from pemb. I'm 14 and got an idea going on around in my head Say if I was to take my open back guitar amp and sit a small lawn mower battery inside of the back, ok from there use a ac power converter to power the amp from the battery Then use a wireless guitar system from the guitar to the amp Ok here's what I'm after.,...trying to emulate a Leslie speaker. Take one end rope tie it to the handle of the amp and the other end up high like a tree limb...twist the rope tight and let it rotate round and round while playing my guitar through the amp powered by the lawn mower battery using the power converter. Do you think that would give me a Leslie speaker sound?
👍🏼😎
Excellent
Sweet demo. I myself got #11 from this batch!

I already tried that. The amp stayed still, and the tree went round and round.
Ok So I need to climb up in the tree and play to get that effect.
