well, the modder who made that (angelo1234 I think) is a dev now, so who knows, maybe it'll be an official feature someday

started watching ur vids in class bc I was bored but I actually started enjoying them. Im not too experienced with beamng so this kind of info is great.
Weirdly enough I actually prefer vanilla steering filter settings. You can actually get it to feel really good if you use all of the filters correctly
Even more so if you add a wheel.lut file which takes the micro inputs form your wheel and works with the game settings to get a really good FFB feel

ima try the advanced steering, i love drifting in beam but i play on controllor so it takes a lot of focus, if i like it i might just make more beam videos lol

Adas is pretty cool but I like to be in control of the car just like in real life, I turn that crap off the second I get in a car with it

Dont all vehicles have backfire already?
I'll write my two cents about the ADAS systems (including the Automatic Lights system in them because it's equally as important): it's a bit of a shame that BeamNG drive doesn't feature these systems yet because the "BeamNG tech" part of the sim is purely concentrated on such technologies. Of course, I'm talking solely based on what I can see because, in reality, the BeamNG tech people may actually be working on these systems in the background and they may actually publish an ADAS-themed update in the future.
I have access to BeamNG.tech and can confirm that some of the ADAS features are already there, or can be implemented easily based on the data that is already simulated
@@SkyFall4839 That's a good start, it means that they're developing them. Of course, this also means that we'll be getting adaptive cruise control, but that is also based on how well the flowgraph of the traffic vehicles is programmed, so naturally it's gonna take even longer than the rest of the ADAS systems. But that's a great start!

I don't like the backfire because it is so extreme. Like if it was like FH5 types of one pop I would like it way more
at 1:52 the unrealistic thing is the rearview mirror is very bright

Yes there are also vanilla assists, but I personally prefer this mod :)

It''s an UI app that comes with the mod. Simply activate it by adding it in the UI apps menu!

what's the point of the backfire mod if you always could make any vanilla car shoot flames?
Extreme backfires without exhaust modification
The backfire mod isn't realistic for a stock vehicle it has to be running rich or have a flame kit installed to back fire
Whats the map where you showed the winch?
I showed the SP Winch on two different vanilla maps; Johnson Valley and Utah.

Install the mod, and activate the camera in the camera settings!
