Hey egg, I appreciate the years of uploads over the years is been good years even if the years are progressively getting crazier. This has been a positive constant.
This game officially dropped today and i played it for the first time. Came to youtube hoping you might have picked it up as well and here you are, a year ago, playing it already.
Egg guy when are you going to try Hyperlight Drifter!? Seriously though it's excellent and has a distinct feel with mouse and keyboard vs gamepad. Otherwise, love the content. It's been nice having you on in the background in these dark and indoor times. Edit: This is gorgeous. Room based gameplay is a fascinating way of perfecting a gameplay loop via tiny sequential iterations.
Hey this looks really neat, I'll definitely be looking forward to the eventual release! I always appreciate well-crafted roguelites, but it has my kinda aesthetic and theme as well :D
It looks really neat. Only with all these bloom I felt like I wasn't wearing glasses, eveything feels a little blurred. Also, lol at "I'm sorry, it's QA!"
Heya Ryan, keep up the good work and here's hoping you can keep the win streak going in TCL later today. Great to see more indie devs getting some well deserved time in the spotlight.
Dang, it's quite pretty and looks fun enough, the boss especially! I was wondering, though. I somehow felt that it was a little hard to focus (visually, not mentally) and that the slowdown as you're attacking might be a bit jarring. How is that for you or people who have played it?
I've played 6 hours of it, you definitely get used to the slowdown as you keep playing, but I never had a hard time focusing on the enemies. If you're blue/white colorblind maybe, because you might not see the frills on the enemies' heads, but if you're not and just look for that you'll be fine.
Seems kind of cool, but I'm not too into the sound design. Feels too subtle. The attacks also don't feel very satisfying. The details and visuals look very nice though!
Ah yes, the northern west coast, also known as 'life is strange aesthetic'. Nah I kid, since you're generally west coastal and you come down to oregon/washington so you can say it.
I like the concept but the game itself is a bit too slow or not fluid enough. The art is also very very nice, but a bit... distracting? Perhaps my oppinion would change if I played instead of watching

You probably could have fit a few more "years" in there if you really wanted too. Also thank you Ryan for the great content.
@@barthaukes3642 is that the fruit from rayman
@@phattybacon931 it is. Great game.
Seeing Hades meets Life is Strange had me do a double take
Is he wrong though?
It's a hella combination.
@@Gorm169 I see what you did there

Glad to see you covering this game NL, backed this one in kickstarter a while ago and I'm happy to see the love it's getting!
He got games, he got developers names, he got callback, he got snapbacks
Big brain, knee pain, he's got it all
I've been loving the new channel style! Also, this is a beautiful looking game!
The look of this game is really neat. Very atmospheric.
*Sees mystical glowing portals, supernatural enemies, and strange abilities* There's a dream world and a real world. This is the real world.
This mad man flexing on us by parrying while forgetting the time slow mechanic exists
Always good to hear Dale North's name, a great musical mind.
cecilandblues what a nice thing to say. Made my day. Thank you so much
I remember seeing the trailer for this! Definitely trying the prologue. Thanks Ryan!
Your content is keeping me sane through this time, my man. Keep on keeping on.
NL's encyclopedic knowledge of studios and names in the industry always blows me away
Thanks for checking the game out Ryan!
This game has a really unique concept and art style, combining things that aren't traditionally played together. Interested to see where this goes.
My lord this game looks so stunning!! Thank you Ryan for putting this on my radar!
Oh, yeah, this is heading to my Steam library. Looks fun!
Yo! Would love to see a series of this when the full release drops!
Yeah I'm gonna need a series of this
Hey NL my dude, keep up the stellar content and don't get discouraged. You're one of the only things getting me through quarantine ^_^
Thanks for the company, Egg Father.
This game looks like it was made in Dreams.
Not that that's a bad thing, but the style definitely reminds me of it.

@Lucas Custódio Only wish it was longer.
It's awesome that this game was made in your hometown! Sweet choice of game.

Can’t believe we have been enjoying Enel’s content for all these years. Never change egg
This is gorgeous. Dale North is awesome. I can't wait to see more of this game!
NL : mention life is strange once
UA-cam algorithm : Life is Strange it is , great game can't wait to promote it
I've just bought it, seems like something I'll enjoy!

Stellar art direction.
You can tell NL put in a hard day of recording because his egg is absolutely scrambled reading this

Daniel HK I can not figure out what you’re talking about when you say TCL? It’s bothering the crap outta me lol
@@halo7172 The Checkpoint League
Daniel HK And what exactly is the TCL? Sorry the name doesn’t reveal much to me. Is it like a quiz bowl for Ryan to school people on lol?
This is cute!! I vote for a series of the full game.
NL, tagged game says "Life is Strange", possbily auto added by YT.
Also, NL, is this what your hometown is like? Beautiful and Canadian and full of aggressive robots?

This game looks fantastic
The game looks amazing and fresh. Could be really good for series just like Isaac. Just wondering why it is not 1080p, looks a bit blurry to me.
Seems kind of cool, but I'm not too into the sound design. Feels too subtle. The attacks also don't feel very satisfying. The details and visuals look very nice though!
main character got that 🎂
its not online right?
This game is beeee-u-tiful

How dare you slander Animal Crossing's deep personal relationship building
Reminding me Alan Wake a bit. Which is a good thing! UPD: Damn, this looks very promising. AND JUST 3 DEVS? WOW.
The slowdown when attacking really bothers me

This feels like it was made in dreams
(It clearly is not, but it also isn't really doing the game any favors imo)
Palaver is one ugly word.
"Hades Meets Life Is Strange" - If you put it that way, it doesn't sound all that good to be honest....
One way I've seen it described (that I prefer) is "Think Hades but with Ori vibes.
