We got the book long ago. I read it again in 2022. And started yesterday again. What was phantasy in 1989 is just what happens today. Occultism in schools. It was very prophetic....!
I also have heard these books years ago as a long haul trucker at the time. And with young children that road with me during the summer I often had book's on CDs Frank E. Peretti 3 books

I've been born again since a child age 8 until 25. Read this present darkness 30+ years ago and this book while saved. Saw real demons manifest in my own home in the US, Washington state funnily enough. Backslid due to a mini tribulation of my own. Fast forward 25 years got saved in lockdown April 2020. Have been unlearning everything I ever believed about this world. With much knowledge comes much sorrow just like Ecclesiastes says. Found your channel. I listened to this present darkness in under a week despite working full time. On to this book now. It's given me such a break from this horrible world whilst reminding me about the kind of world we live in. I'm so grateful. Thank you for sharing. It's like my mind has had a holiday for the last few days. I'm so excited to be starting this sequel. It's 7pm on a Saturday and I can't think of anything I'd rather be doing right now as it's not yet time for the Lord to take us home. I really appreciate you putting this on here. I went to my local book store today...it's a rather big chain here in the UK. In spite of this I would still need to special order any book by Frank E Peretti to be printed before they could be delivered to the store. This present darkness changed my life in a different and great way 30 years ago and today it has not disappointed me. I'm so glad to read others were as excited about these books as I am. I lost my children in family court battle that lasted 10+ years. I faced multiple false accusations from a wealthy violent man who left me. I found Jesus in the hospital after I lost everything. He could not prove anything. He hired/fired 5 lawyers,. In 2021 he told the judge I believe God speaks to me. I have not had any contact with my 2 beloved children since. This is fiction, but God and the power of prayer are not. I need this reminder.

I've read and reread Frank's "Darkness" books. Amongst his others. They weave scripture with a credible story line and for me encourage me in my prayer life. Though over 30 years since I first read them they fit will in today's news and liberal narratives shaping the world news
His books are so relevant today. The character of amber behaving like a horse in class....we now have children 'identifying' as cats in the classroom! ....cos idenyifying as the opposite sex isnt enough anymore.

Its because she knew the finding the real me really conjures up demons . she killed her baby while demonically possoed. Amethyst remembered what she did and through Amber screamed it in the post office. No one would want the author of the program to be a baby killer. Sally wrote that program.
