When three suburban moms get tired of trying to make ends meet, they decide it's time to stick up for themselves by robbing the local supermarket at (toy) gunpoint. He's not underdeveloped. He's exactly as developed as the writers want him to be. They don't want us to have any more information on him than Beth does, so that we're right there with her when he throws her for a loop.

Beth really does miss him. It’s like hard for her because she’s trying so damn hard to give up that life. So many unspoken words between them but it’s been made very clear a relationship(Official one I should say) is brewing in the mist 🙈😩🙈
It's crazy I knew they were attracted to each other but I didn't know how much Rio cared until I saw him hold her hand. I was completely surprised but really happy. I think as much as she wants to be with him she keeps a wall up because she feels like her doesn't care about her like that and doesn't want to get hurt. It's like wake up Beth, he's fallen hard.

I don't know if I'd like a whole episode about him, but I would like them to fill in a little more about his backstory, and preferably not just as a cheap tactic to create empathy for him before killing him off or some nonsense like that.

This scene right her was telling for her and him, when he walked up on her to said exactly what she was thinking, the look she gave him was so many emotions (help, omg how u know, I missed u) but she had to snap back and remember that she almost lost her kids so she can't be involved even though she wanna be so badly...and him, he knows her deep inside bc he wants to and really see her and understands her and even though she acting cold, he still crazy about her and doesn't want her to go down...it's messed up they put them against each other, Beth started forcing Rio to be the bad guy in her mind to stay away from him and that annoyed him bc he showed her multiple times how much he respected her and how he believed in her and she thought if him as the bad guy when she was living with a good father but a insecure selfish husband, who she had to belittle herself for

Rio has feelings even if he wants to ignore them. Here he saves her from the fed, he also brought back his daughter's blanket. This is someone who worries about the other. Beth never had any attention for him just for physical attraction ... Even if the series is called "The good girls" Rio participates in the success of this series. A lot of people watch for BRIO, I think without Rio the show is going to be less successful ....

Why do I love this show well
1st and most importantly christina hendricks I'm like brioheads are for the whole brio thing but not as obsessed but pretty close I watch anything she is In no matter how popular or unpopular good or bad
2nd manny Montana just the reaction he gets even if he only appears for like minute or so at most is good for latino actors and actresses so much that if were to leave the show many claim that it would hurt the ratings majorly (I don't think so)but just the idea is plus for him and and many aspiring latino actors like myself
3rd retta before this she's being known for her comedy chops but here she's showing her dramatic chops for real and chemistry with reno is better than brio I think
4rth mae Whitman she owns the comedy in this show she made everyone her own straight man especially christina hendricks and has shown dramatic chops of her own
5th brioheads even doe I think they should pay more attention outside the whole brio story but their dedication will keep this if only "if" leaves or if that relationship doesn't end the way you want
6th reno & Matthew aka stan and dean two completely different characters but the fact that there use in different ways motivation for Beth and ruby
7th I like crime dramas wich is what this is sometimes I think people forget that
8th beth and ruby are the real couple of this (and I don't mean that they are going to hook up rommanticly or sexually) but the bond they have a a sort of surrogate sisters that they establish in the past few episodes even more than annie and Beth or annie and ruby or brio or stan and ruby or annie and Noah or dean and Beth let's face it they are soulmates even annie kind sees it lets face it all brio is sexual at most and after the raid beth might realise that that's her attraction to this man is the attraction to the life of crime and the mind games they play on each other
