Thanks for the video. I am new to RVing and was looking to upgrade my charge controller to handle lithium batteries for a solar setup. Your video has instilled confidence in me to be able to do the upgrade myself.
What year and model camper do y'all have? We have a 2013 Passport Ultra Lite Grand Touring. Do I need to contact the manufacturer to see if there is a direct replacement.
So, by adding/updating my converter, it will charge my battery? We just bought our camper in January and replaced the battery, but it keeps dying. @TheNorthwoodsRVLife

Thank you for a great video.
Thank you. When I cut the old wires can i just connect the new ones with a wire nut instead of taking old ones out completely.
I would replace the entire wire, wire nuts like to come loose with the vibration of the trailer., thanks for watching
@@TheNorthwoodsRVLife thanks your the best 👍🏽.
I recently changed ours out again.
hoping this lasts a while, thanks for watching!
Do you need to change the exterior plug to 50amp?
No the converter converts 120v ac power to 12v dc if your rv is 30amp 120v ac it will remain so
