Yes, let's buff the most OP Passive Key in the game: Gushing Wounds by buffing the Grandfather by 100% LOL Classes like Necro, Druid, or Sorc are mostly lacking with damage but they are doing everything but not buffing the damage but some pointless utilities, ultimates, mobility, etc. And of course, they won't remove Barb's immortality as the only class that can temper such passives like Guttural Yell or Martial Vigor but they will nerf Necro and Druid DR. Pull in enemies and make 10%[x] dmg - another Barb buff. I have no idea who is in charge of Blizzard in terms of class balance but should be fired.
They make Shepherd’s a companion damage aspect, so we can use varied skills, then give Druid nothing but companion aspects in the XPac to funnel us back in. Make it make sense.
Sorc gets: Meh flameshield aspect Everyone gets: 2 way better defensive aspects along the same lines.. Sorc design team isn't even designing for the same game. Playing a sorc is just self-inflicted hardmode.
Imagine: If you could ANY aspect on one piece of unique jewelry. Or just any aspect on one unique period. Any aspect you want. The possibilities would open up.
How about letting us use a spark to turn a unique into a gem and allowing us to use the unique power that way on regular legendaries? Similar to season 1 mechanics.
I can't believe Barb has been allowed to have the advantage of two 2 handed weapons and the legendary affix, temper, and masterworking stat advantages for so damn long. Its time to give more slots to other classes.

Adam Jackson is a cheeky one. But I'm here for it. Always warms my heart seeing thematic ideas or just straight up mechanics he likely came across from his Heroes of the Storm days making their way into Diablo 4. Had the biggest smile seeing Aspect of the Fortress just straight up being Garrosh' trait from Hots. Like 1 for 1. Garrosh was a main tank (damn good one too) whose entire thing defensively was that he gained armor for % of his health missing. Maxing out at 50 (which in hots meant he only took 50% of whatever was hitting him). So if he was half dead, he was half god. Can't wait to see how it plays on barbs.
Im pretty excited for the new aspects, necro or sorc since those are the 2 classes I have not played yet. Id love to see a general utility aspect in the future that all classes could use that basically takes poe's cast when damage taken gem and has its own twist. The sorc flame shield aspect seems like a perfect one that could be complemented with some sort of cast when damage taken aspect.
Gf is a net nerf to most barb builds this season and most builds that use it require the hemorrhage paragon node which is getting nerfed. Not too surprised it got buffed. They just have to adjust the gushing wounds key passive and it should be fine. Regardless, I want all classes to be barbs level of power. I don’t want them to nerf barbs to bring them down, rather buff other classes to bring them up
These patch notes make it VERY clear that Druids are the red headed stepchildren of the game and are likely being funneled into being the test audience for the upcoming Druid2.0, aka Spiritborn. Most of this stuff is just tacked on nonsense and they somewhat buffed Landslide to placate the really stubborn Druid players. Chances are, the Druid class spends it's 3rd season in a row scraping the bottom of the barrel. Just in time to make Druid players nice and desperate to be on top with the new, pet project class when the xpac releases.

I want to try Dark Dance with Penetrating Shot.80% multiplicative damage is nice, even if it's only every ~3rd shot. And in the helltide or something you can NUKE whole screens since it would scale up Trickshot too.
Aspect of True Sight is how Inner Sight always should have been. They promoted Rogue having weakpoint sensing abilities. It was so dissapointing to have passive resource regen only.
Aspect of Creeping Death looks very interesting, it sounds almost too good to be true. But considering how they would like us to run more uniques per build, I guess it may be overshadowed for a more crucial aspect depending on the build
its kind of insane to me how many things rogue got while druid and sorc still barely got anything. Its so clear that either the devs are playing favorites or are insanely blind to the fact that druid and sorc have been conistently the weakest of the classes

I was reading the Prudent Heart as you take the Damage FIRST and THEN you become immune, no? So if you get smoked by a big hit, it's still gonna kill you, it's just that if you manage to survive, *now* you are immune for a short while?
I would love to see some “cast on crit” or autobomber builds via new items, skills or aspects for the mid game….every Diablo style game has those 4-5 best builds for the super high end game, but the mid game and speed farming is where many builds should be viable and diverse.
I like the Companion love this season. On a side note, that Dark Dance Aspect - how does it work with channelled Core Skills? Mainly, I have in mind WW Barb.
If I wanted to play melee, I’d play rogue. I played rogue season 3. I’d like to play sorc and have fun throughout a season but that isn’t possible past a certain point in the game. I don’t understand.
I get that "+" is additive and "x" is multiplicative, but how exactly is everything added up? Do you add up all the "+", then add up all the "x", and THEN multiply both numbers? Or do you straight up multiply every single "x" multiplier? I guess another way of asking the question: Is every "x" multiplier its own unique damage bucket while every "+" shares the same damage bucket?
Aspects have finally been added to poison. It will be possible to do something for the druid through poisons. If only they added to him passive talents and a unique glyph for poison.
they really go the D3 route and dont care for balane / difficulty it seems. many classes getting sooo many additional devensive layers or potential layers, idk how to feel about that. the game already is a cakewalk and has no real challange.
aspect of nebulous brews + temerity = fast I wouldn't run either of those items. but it would work. Temerity lets you use potions at max life, which normally you can't do. it's right in the pants tooltip!
Aspect of the cursed aura. Now if I recall, minions can only be directed to enemies via cursing them. I.e. a long ranged threat arises, you curse it minions, attack that first over close enemies. Auto curse means, the latter will be attacked over the former. Effectively, you lose control of your minions.... Great for Infinimist though. Sac ring, auto case tendils and corpse explosion, auto curse via this... wait perma bloodmist is dead for season 5. nooooooo Ohhh.. Aspect of the Great Feast is better than blighted. Considering blighted is based on a condition. While Great Feast gives you 90% damage boost all the time, but with resource drain, that can be mitigated by essence per second affixes.... Kalens edict used, shave of attack speed affix for crit hit, etc.
Looking at the list of Druid changes compared to other classes, I feel so underrepresented. Also, one of the main things to look forward to, landslide, has 50% of the buff they claimed in the patch notes(!!???). There's a lot more changes with regards to making druids tankier (damage reduction stuff, etc), but damage is more often than not the limiting factor for how far you can go in content and we're still lagging behind in that I think

Seeing that staves are changing from "Damage to CC'd" into "DoT" Staff of Lam Essen is getting very much worse. Lightning builds want to stun, and do not DoT.... Hope they figure out a way to make that unique better as it was already very niche and hard to make a good build with as a staff. They really need to change it to a wand. Also really unfortunate to see Foci going from CDR to Lucky Hit %....
Data is available for pre-download. You can no laucnh the game but you can extract data from the game. it's not encrypted or anything, it is usual CASC storage Blizzard using for decades for their games. It takes some tools and scripts to unpack proprietary formats but job already done since D4 beta. I did my own dig into data back in cow level hunt days.
Sorc gets nothing but crumbs all the time now. Why hate sorc blizzard? I don’t care much if specific builds of a class are not as strong as others from season to season but why try to make people play different classes like barb? I don’t want to play melee in that way in an arpg this season, I want to play sorcerer. Why can’t you just make sorc viable solo in the endgame? We’re literally just asking for the class to be as strong as all the other classes in the game, not overpowered or something. It’s so weird.

Moonrage is worthless, 3% chance per kill yeay let's see that work on a boss. That needs to be like granted to summon on boss hit or elite every 12 seconds. They just don't understand druid still....
More aspects means less chance of getting the one you want. What the game needs to do is figure out a way that two different players of relatively the same skill don't have characters with vastly different level of power.
The game has become too complicated...but in a GOOD WAY, as this will result in TRUE Genre Define Builds - HOWEVER, without loadouts, it's becoming incredibly burdensome to play to change builds. Only new toons can do that as wiping out your old build and change everything from scratch is NOT FUN and actually HURTS the game. That's how you know the devs don't actually play their own game in any meaningful way...NO lv50 doesn't count.

It's balanced via Barbs having less base damage across the board in their skills to lower the ceiling the extra slots allow.

The use a potion and gain mov speed has to work like temerity, you should be able to spam potions even at full health

Dark dance works with the rogue potion move speed. 2 sec downtime. Probably still not good but solves not being able to potion at max life

I wish if they are going to keep tempering bricking items they would lower their power by about 80%, missing something giving you 100%+ damage to your main thing and missing is horrid

Seeing that staves are changing from "Damage to CC'd" into "DoT" Staff of Lam Essen is getting very much worse. Lightning builds want to stun, and do not DoT.... Hope they figure out a way to make that unique better as it was already very niche and hard to make a good build with as a staff. They really need to change it to a wand. Also really unfortunate to see Foci going from CDR to Lucky Hit %....

Data is available for pre-download. You can no laucnh the game but you can extract data from the game. it's not encrypted or anything, it is usual CASC storage Blizzard using for decades for their games. It takes some tools and scripts to unpack proprietary formats but job already done since D4 beta. I did my own dig into data back in cow level hunt days.

Sorc gets nothing but crumbs all the time now. Why hate sorc blizzard? I don’t care much if specific builds of a class are not as strong as others from season to season but why try to make people play different classes like barb? I don’t want to play melee in that way in an arpg this season, I want to play sorcerer. Why can’t you just make sorc viable solo in the endgame? We’re literally just asking for the class to be as strong as all the other classes in the game, not overpowered or something. It’s so weird.

More aspects means less chance of getting the one you want. What the game needs to do is figure out a way that two different players of relatively the same skill don't have characters with vastly different level of power.

The game has become too complicated...but in a GOOD WAY, as this will result in TRUE Genre Define Builds - HOWEVER, without loadouts, it's becoming incredibly burdensome to play to change builds. Only new toons can do that as wiping out your old build and change everything from scratch is NOT FUN and actually HURTS the game. That's how you know the devs don't actually play their own game in any meaningful way...NO lv50 doesn't count.
