It's fantastic that you have friends like that. I am working on a JURASSIC Jeep of my own but here in Texas nobody really gives a crap. Wish I had friends that would help me like you do.
+Rex Kowalski I live in Texas as well and I plan to get a jeep and turn it into a Jurassic Park Jeep. And so far my dad is on board. BTW I am 16 and my parents are actually letting me do a Jurassic Park Jeep as my first car.
Todd Jason Films I was going to do a Jurassic jeep as a first car but then all these crashes involving jeeps started happening and now everyone is like " your gunna die in a jeep if you get one you need uh economy car with safety in it" so I don't think I'm getting a jeep any time soon
I can't promise you we will feature more prep in the main body of this documentary as it's less about how and more about why people do this. But we can certainly look into some bonus footage late. The reason is because of places like jpjeep [dot] com & this jeeps FB are already a wealth of knowledge for the HOW portion for sure. Head to fb[dot]com / jurassicparkjeepjp05 and Alan will be happy to assist you in prep info. Thanks for watching & sharing!
I might want to see a lil bit more of the prepping if you can do that, I have a '93 Wrangler Sahara that I am going to be converting to a JP Jeep. Also in case you didn't know there is a website (jurassicparkjeep (dot) com) where people post about the JP jeeps they are making or have made, so you have a lot of experience on that site to draw from or add to.
Unfortunately it's not as easy as just putting a list down to find the parts. These parts are no longer in production so finding these parts is like finding a needle in a haystack. You have to search craigslist, eBay, yard sales and junkyards if you want the "real" parts. As you've seen in this series he recreated the lightbar and the vinyls pouches. It's a complicated process that takes lots of time and patience!

Yall should just make a entire list of what and where to buy all the parts for the jeep, that would help a lot of people out :)
