  • Jinja Uganda East Africa's Adventure Capital.
Jinja is a town in Eastern Uganda, on the shore of Lake Victoria. The source of the Nile, at Coronation Park, is marked by a garden and a monument honoring British explorer John Hanning Speke. Owen Falls Dam and Bujagali Dam both span the Nile. Farther north on the river, Itanda Falls is known for its white-water rapids. East of Jinja, on Lake Victoria, Samuka Island is home to birdlife, including little egrets.

Man, this is what is called professionalism in videography, its not about following the rules, it's about changing the course of the game, in creativity, perspective and a touch of genius, good story telling of what it is backed with excellent music; the true expression of the tour moment beyond words.
Mr. Musinguzi, you are excellent and exceptional. Keep up this excellent work. WORLD CLASS, RAW AND FRESH.

Hi everyone this brings back lots of memories of Jinja as I was born here in 1946.Left Jinja in 1968 for UK but went back there again in 2016 to see how different it is from the time I was there last.It has changed somewhat but not too much as many buildings and other places like schools are pretty much the same so seeing it again in 2016 it really was very emotional for me as I just felt I am still that young man in my childhood days.I still wish to go back and see it all over again but I am not that young man I used to be so may be only good memories will always be in my mind about my life in Uganda

Jinja is making strong strides, although the city could use more business investments and infrastructure developments. It used to be a vibrant town back in the day. I went to Busoga College Mwiri for my high school so yeah this upload brings back great memories. Thanks. You should also take time to go explore Namasagali College which in the 90s was a great school. Top ranked in Africa in drama. Maybe you can explore and document some of the historical schools like Namagunga, Gayaza, Buddo, Kibuli, etc etc even Universities.

Awesome! I am glad this video brought back such valuable memories. Thanks for the idea. Some of my Brothers were in Namasagali and one of them was a Judge, the other learnt chess & taught me how to play. Indeed it was the best when it came to drama. Let me see how to work out some of those stories of the historical schools.
