Hey I appreciate this video. Just now came across your channel largely by accident. I’ve owned several Mazdas over the past dozen years or so. This past week I bought a 2015 Mazda3 hatch. I bought it from a dealership a few states over and I’m hoping it delivers later this week. Never have driven a 3rd gen 3 before but I have owned a 2nd gen 3 and 4th gen 3 previously and loved both of them. I’m amazed how well equipped this 3 is for a 6 year old car. Heck, my 2020 3 didn’t even have paddle shifters, HUD or heated mirrors like the fully loaded 3 from 2015 has! These are challenging times to buy a new/used vehicle, hence why I bought mine out of state. But I think I got a steal of a deal on mine. Anyway, I came here to watch somebody drive a 2015 Mazda3. But I like what you’re doing here… I just may have to stick around!

Little late in the game, but I agree with people on here. Really great idea for a series. I just got a Mazda CX-5 and something like this would have helped with a more informed decision.
Good series! Older cars please! 10-20 years really show the quality or lack of it.
I'm amazed at all the car enthusiasts that don't know the storage pocket behind the seat exists for the driver only. It's the one you can reach with your right hand while driving or at a stop light. No need for a storage pocket in the driver seat, which the driver won't reach.
That’s for the front passenger and rear seat passengers lol, people make excuses for literally any shortcoming as if they’re paid to 😂

Update: The snowflake thing was a protective sleeve for a windshield ice cover for the winter time. The snowflake pattern makes sense now!

Shots fired! I belong to that whole other group of people that compare this to the Impreza lol -- in 08 I ended up with the Impreza 2.5i over the Mazda3, and have only had Subaru's since. The "thimble full of tacks" got me haha

best mods to begin with: led interior light conversion, led exterior bulbs, window tint, aftermarket radio, subwoofer setup, worn leather/trim replacements

Can add in android auto or car play instead of updating gps. Pretty simple to do yourself by updating the software and buying the unit for phone connectivity.

My 2015 Mazda 3 dealer activated the navigation free at purchase. Updates were called for after 2-3 years. Any update would cost big bucks, a ridiculous charge considering Google maps and the like. In fact, to insure an updated navigation map, I use my cell phone and use Google Maps or Waze. Also, you can use vocal commands for the on-board navigation, but the wording has to be just right and in the right order. I've never memorized it--too much of a hassle.
Yeah, on-board navigation is fairly outdated these days. I just think the up-charge to activate something that’s technically already there is ridiculous. Thanks for watching Gene!

I've done 400+ miles at a stretch in my 2015 and I thought it worked out really well.

That's a fair guess, but the material it was made out of and the shape of it made me think it was a really long umbrella cover.
