Monarch: Legacy of Monsters is part of the franchise too, it does flashbacks to the 1950's but it takes place after Godzilla (2014) in 2015, so it would go Kong: Skull Island, Godzilla (2014), Monarch: Legacy of Monsters, then Godzilla: King of Monsters, to Godzilla vs Kong, and Godzilla x Kong: The New Empire. Which I know that's obvious but I just wanted to let you guys know, so hopefully you would do Monarch: Legacy of Monsters as well, since it's part of the franchise as well.

The reason Godzilla's choreography was abysmal is because he has just woken up up after a very long time sleeping, and the Muto's emps also affect him, weakening his atomic breath and all his other traits. Mutos are pretty much designed to be Godzilla species killers.
The reason Godzilla was slower and didn’t use his atomic breath until near the end of the fight was because apparently the M.U.T.O’s EMP attacks weakened him. And quite a bit of time passes by in the newer movies, so he’s gotten stronger over time.
Think they'll watch Godzilla X Kong New Empire.

Godzilla fights A LOT more in later films. His atomic breath was also weakened by the MUTO’s EMP, for some reason. I got a feeling y’all are gonna love the next films a lot more!!!
Last I checked, the reason is because mutos evolved to counter Godzilla’s species.

The MUTOs are hands-down one of my all-time favorite villains. I loved their design, their physiology, and they were very worthy foes to Godzilla. The guy who directed this has been attached to do another Jurassic Park film, too.

They’re middle of the ladder. They were cool to see but both were weak in comparison to queen muto that bowed down to Godzilla in KOTM.
They weakened Godzilla with emp attacks but he still killed the male with 1 tail swipe and in the novel the females head was ripped off with a single swing if his arm. They were alright for a weakened Godzilla though

KOTM featured all of my favorite monsters from childhood. A monstrous dream come true.
Just the Rodan intro scene alone is one of the most epic, unimaginably cool things I've ever seen in any Godzilla / Monsterverse movie.

(At 30:29) fire? That's not fire. Those are more like vapors. The atomic breath is pure radiation. It's just like that because the EMPs are dampening Godzilla's strength so technically. This movie you're kind of seeing Godzilla a little bit at his weakest.

I loved Brian Kranston's performance, and upon rewatching this movie, seeing Aaron T Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen play a couple in a movie after getting used to them playing the sibling characters Wanda and Pietro for many years was kind of jarring, but they still got mad chemistry even as a couple

His first name “ishiro” is ahomage to the orignal godzilla director ishiro honda. “Serizawa” is homage to the orignal iteration of dr. serizawa who first killed godzilla in the orignal 1954 and sacarifced himself in the attempt. I would have really like this movie if had both brian kranstan and ken watanabe as the main human focus throughout the film besides godzilla. I think that would have made the film even better. Having both of them work togther in how to deal with the fight between godzilla and the mutos

The human element is always present in these monsterverse movies, in the old movies, a lot of the time humans would kinda give commentary on what the monsters were doing, and then help in some way,..and also there was some behind the scene human intrigue, aliens trying to control Godzilla, infiltrating human society, to sabotage human activities, like the discovery of these monsters on Earth, and so the human storyline here, intertwined with the monsters, Cranston's discovery of the strange sizemic readings, led eventually to discovery of the MUTOS, and yess Godzilla is not the only gigantic creature on Earth, in King of The Monsters, you'll see many more discoveries, so and that's the thing, other monsters awake, cause havoc, and so Godzilla, you know kinda keeps a handle on them,..the Godzilla movies now, there's a better expressive, feature of the monsters, there intent, gestures, even facial expressions, like Godzilla, with that scowl on his face when he encounters a foe, you can see the rage,.the fierce anger,..just love it, this movie was an homage to those that came before, and the whole franchise,.I know the fights were far and few between, and in shadow, but it was like a slow reintroduction, to a an old friend you haven't seen in a long time,..a meticulous reintroduction, respectful,.when this was released, back then, heard a friend asking someone else if they were going to see the new Godzilla movie, I was floored, had no idea a new one had been made, last one I saw was 1998, and certain aspects of his character were missing, so I was like, you know will it be a better version this time,..will it be true to his original character, and I didn't get a chance to go see it at the time, but when I finally did, was overwhelmingly pleased, as a fan for 6 decades, very pleased,..so think of the next movie as not a slow reveal, but a full on charge through the door,..much better than this one, never in my wildest dreams, with all this cgi, could've imagined how they have really brought the monsters to life,..it's such a treat,..do enjoy, loved your reaction,..hmmpf when the bird hit the window on the bus shocked you, yeah, when birds, animals start running, hmmpf, you better be running too!,..Godspeed, Peace ✌

As boring as this movie was, I do love how this movie made the monsters feel like actual giants. The slowness of their movements & the human perspective of these monsters made them feel enormous (Pacific Rim also did this very well).
The monsters in GvK & GxK just move way too fast & we never see them in the human perspective anymore. It just sucks the life out of these Kaiju films for me.
If you kept Bryan Cranston alive and had more of the monsters, this would be one of the best Godzilla movies imo. I still like it, but it’s a clear case of missed potential.
(At 29:36) That's because the EMPs they're giving off are weakening it. So Godzilla's going to use *as* a last resort.

King of the Monsters is by far my favorite movie of the Monsterverse franchise. As someone who grew up watching old school Godzilla movies, it’s exactly what I wanted a Godzilla movie to be. Incredible monster fights with some of the most iconic Godzilla villains of all time.

Comparing this movie to Empire oh man. The New Empire is ASS to this movie. Godzilla is a joke in the new one and the fighting is fast and goofy not slow and powerful.
