Engine Hoist Build Part 1

This is Part 1 of the engine hoist build series. I decided it would be nice to have a cherry picker for moving heavy things around the shop. Looking around online mostly what I saw were store bought engine hoists that were laughably rated for 2 tons despite having thin frames and weak casters, so I decided to build my own. This is a beefy, built for it's weight rating engine hoist. Quarter inch wall tubing, casters rated for 1000 pounds each, and almost ten pounds of welding wire...
