LOL, just landed on this video and am tickled by your constant reiterations of not being good with makeup at all, yet managing to do advanced makeup manoeuvres I would never do, i.e. using eyeliner and putting in false eyelashes. I don't wear makeup all that often but when I do, I tend to put more product on, on my face, and I use three different shades of eyeshadow that I blend together, just like the Sephora employee taught me to do (and where I learned to put on makeup). I use exclusively e.l.f. Cosmetics products because I like their price range (right now I have about $200 worth of products and that includes the makeup bag AND brush bag AND sprays), though I'm not opposed to Wet & Wild products (a fellow "drugstore" brand) either, and even if I'm not wearing makeup I do ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS wear earrings (two small pairs since my ears have two piercings each) and a watch. Oh, and my mom always used to tease/backcomb my hair, use hot hair rollers, spray the bejesus out of my hair, and basically do tons of torturous things to my hair every time we were going to some kind of event such as a wedding or family celebration so my hair would look all kinds of fancy, but these days I just wear it down or wear it in a well-sculpted ponytail or bun; also, I used to have a fringe ALL the time to cover my fivehead, but being that I live in Texas and it gets really hot down here I rebelled against that as an adult and have chosen to go without for comfort's sake.

With the baked eye shadows, you can apply them with wet brush as well... :)

This may be my new favorite! I find watching makeup videos soothing anyway, but your lovely whispering and all of the wonderful sounds in this were amazing!! Every time I use a brush for my foundation it leaves streaks all over my face and by the time it blends all the way there's no foundation left on my face. Help !?
+Hanna Rooks try one of those blending sponges or maybe just your hands, I wish I could help but I don't wear foundation other than when I'm dressing up as a character
Don’t drag the foundation on your face. The key is to use stippling/dabbing motions as you would a beauty sponge when using a brush. You can also use circular motions to really work the foundation in depending on how sheer you want your coverage. Stippling ow dabbing will give you more fuller coverage. Also you can go back in with a sponge to smooth everything it out or use ur fingers. I would recommend watching Lisa Eldridge or Wayne goss videos for really in depth videos about how to apply foundations and concealers.

Can you help me figure out which screen is more accurate on color? On one screen your hair looks pretty reddish brown. On the other it looks more of a neutral brown. Which is more accurate?
it's usually down to which light I use, my natural hair colour is mousy brown but it has a warm hue to it so if I'm out in the sun it looks auburn.

Am I the only one who doesn't see any changes in like the first few steps of the process?? It takes like 10 minutes when she starts doing her eyes that I can actually see something change in her skin.
+eldiego68 that's actually the idea when it comes to a base, the changes are meant to be subtle yet add to the overall appearance, I'm just evening out my skintone, covering up blotchiness, dark circles etc
