저는 평생 저에게 잘어울리는 색을 모른채 살아왔는데요
이런게 있다는게 너무 신세계이기도 하면서 나는 정말 무엇을 그동안 입었는가..
자괴감도 드는 재밌는 시간이었어요!ㅋㅋㅋ
실제로 카메라로는 잘 안담기지만 정말 천을 넘길때마다 확확 바뀌는 저의 낯빛이 진짜 신기했답니당!!

이번 영상은 제가 오랜만에 다른 카메라를 써서 정면 카메라가 거의 40분동안 ㅠㅠㅠㅠ 초점이 약간 나가있어요.. 후보정으로 조금 만지긴했는데 그래도 너무 아쉬워요..

Finally, I got my personal color diagnosed!
I've lived my whole life without knowing the color that suits me.
It's a whole new world to know about this!
The colors I wore in the past was a time of shame!LOL
It doesn't really show on camera, but my face color changes every time she changes cloth. It was amazing.
The personal color expert who was with me today is Dustmoth stography!
She's been diagnosing personal color for a long time, so she's very professional.
She explained the theory so well so that I can understand it well.🥰
I used a different camera this time, so the front camera is slightly out of focus for almost 40 minutes. I tried to edit it on the adobe premiere but it's still a bit out of focus. Please understand😢
How lucky I had a sidecam..

@@fighterflight Yes! there's some kind of certification that people can get to do it and then they can run their own color matching businesses. It might be an international certification--I can't remember--but I know there are people in the U.S. who do it. Not many, but there are a few.

What looks better on you, silver or gold? First is cool. Second is warm. Then decide if muted or bright colors look best on you.

I really liked how she explained herself. She keept it light and fun and giving prompts to soy whenever she said something right...It felt like being in kindergarten again, learning about new stuff, so cute!

@@maybelikealittlebit I don't think there was any ill intent with that comment. Only pertaining to how the shade "made" her blemishes look like that. She complimented Soy a few times, she is not rude. Soy is definitely pretty, but since this is about personal color, it's important to be objective. It's a process about knowing how to look better in a personal way. She was very kind and considerate. Please read the room. Though your concern for Soy is admirable.

I think so too! The only other time I've seen this kind of thing is, coincidentally, on another Korean UA-camr's channel. Perhaps it's more common over in Korea??

The foundation match at the end was outstanding ~ what a difference in brightening. Soy is already so pretty so to see the makeup elevate her beauty is AWESOME. thats the power of makeup ~ no to disguise or change but to elevate
I found it interesting that they discussed mixing paint for skin colors and starting with orange. In my school art classes in America, you would start with brown as the base for a skin color.
Brown is actually just a very dark orange! Brown is not on the standard color wheel, but if you darken orange you get brown!
In the UK we start with pink 🤣
In Ireland we would mix the primary colours together to reach a certain skin tone, so yellow, red and blue and then add white and continue mixing the colours until the right skin tone is achieved
That part was really interesting to me because in primary school in the UK they never taught us how to mix skin tones (art lessons were barely lessons lol) so the students just made their own guesses. Most of my classmates would colour their pictures with solid pink for light skin and solid brown for dark skin. However I "invented" using light orange for pale and everyone thought that I had those skin coloured pencils. I told my younger sister the best way to colour pale skin was with orange pencils applied with light pressure not pink. Lol.

I love this, Soy! I do not understand Korean but I imagine what you are talking about. Last year I took the same test with a consultant here ir Uruguay and, seriously it has been life changing. Shopping is easier, you go straight to the place where the pieces that suit you are, you buy things that really suit you and you end up saving a lot of time and money. You also learn how to put colors together and use different color combinations in your outfits. The whole experience opened my mind! Hope you find it useful too! Love from Uruguay! 🇺🇾💙

I think it's really cool that while color is a fairly abstract sort of concept, this method for discovering the best color feels very much like a logic puzzle. Eliminating colors that do not look good, until we are left with what does.

This woman is so crucial to the makeup and fashion industry!!! More people should learn about her trade. She is so talented! I would love to have my personal color diagnosed by her!
Also colour theory is so controversial due to a good portion of it being subjective and depends on how we individually see colours. I’d add theres even a psychological aspect to it ie. when you think something looks good and she tells you that’s awful on you! Think about instances in your life this happens and you change your whole outlook on something.
I want to find my personal color too! The consultant’s voice is SON tingly and Soy’s smile and expressions make the video enjoyable and friendly and perfect.

@@hat880 hi! No matter what colour the skin is , it works. We can have either warm ( autumn or spring) or cool ( summer or winter) undertones. I had a go on a few websites and it took a while, but I worked it out! They’ll give your ideal colour pallete then. Good luck!

this is super neat!! my art teacher always taught me to make (paint) human skin, you needed different specific tones, including yellow, red, white, but also two different browns and a blue. really neat to hear people talking about color like this!

I have watched a lot of non-ASMR videos on this subject for the unintentional ASMR aspect, and this is literally the first person I’ve seen explain the concept in a way that makes sense.
I came here to just relax and sleep while watching it but found myself interested and all awake, learning the color theories. That was very educating, thanks!
