I've got a CB1000R and I do intend to occasionally ride it about 100 miles on highway to visit family, this seems like a great modification and nicely designed piece. Do post some updates on how you like it long term.
I couldn't help but notice your speed dropping when you engaged. Did it stabilise after a bit? It was hard to tell. Also, would the bottom kit fit? Atlas recommend top kit for the CB650R but I've done some measuring and it seems that the bottom kit would fit perfectly fine?
An update on this; I have successfully installed a bottom kit. It fits and clears perfectly fine :) Mine is newer which has the friction pads that slider over instead of being stuck on. Size 1 was perfect. It does make the starter button a little awkward to reach, though.
Do you use throttle locks?

Noticed that I am not using it too much, like at all. Nice gadget but perhaps not for me.
Nice video but man you need to rev that bike a bit more! Those bikes love to be revved 😊
How is it now after few months? Is it good quality?
Still works as expected, not using it as much as i thought :)
