Atlas is 212CAD on Amazon ATM and I found one of those for 24CAD... based on your video it seems like a pretty safe bet for almost 1/10th the price. Cheers mate!
Thanks for the video Davros - very informative and to the point. The Atlas version is very well made, but thanks for showing the Chinese version, which appeared to do the job. I guess we would all like to know how it has lasted and how you found it on your long road trip.
Yea me too, i'd like to know how it's holding up and whether or not there are any issues with it now, a full year after installation and use.

These are now £20 on Amazon, just ordered one, at that price it's worth a go.
I just got one today for my gsx-8r and it doesn't work. It does t fit properly and makes the throttle stick. Then no matter how tight I make it it just pops off. I don't think it's the products fault it's that the bike barely has any gap between the grip and the starter switch housing. I mean less than 3mm
So why quote the Atlas and not include it in the video. The title implies that you are comparing.
I bought one couple of years ago i had an indian scout and i did pay £135 now im trying to fit it too my trident 660

I purchased a low priced throttle lock, but have not used it yet. I have only been doing short rides until I get the bugs out of the motorcycle.

How's the knockoff version lasting you?
£15 quid on fleabay and it came with the alllen key. Works great would love to know what the difference is between the cheap chinese one and the Atlas one, can't see it being £115 worth of difference.
It's the same thing, just got one of temu, looks a bit fiddly to fit.

Build quality seems to be really good Noodle, won't be using it all the time, only will be using it every now and again to give my wrist / hand a rest on very long journeys.

Absolutely no testing under emergency stop/braking condition.
I just use a Go Cruise, its a simple cheap device. Did I say cheap 25 quid..

I’m the inventor, designed and owner of the ATLAS Throttle Lock. I have done my best to support and help the motorcycle community and it’s saddening to see a video like this promoting a criminal copycat Chinese company who stole my design that I worked tirelessly to create.
Our company pays the mortgage for 4 different families as well as multiple other individuals in the motorcycle community. Your promotion of this Chinese knockoff is what will destroy a family run motorcycle company and leave you with an uncreative, thieving Chinese producer who only cares about profit, not our fellow riders.
Please reconsider your position on supporting this knockoff product if you hope to keep innovative products in the market. If companies like mine are priced out by uncreative criminals, then we won’t be left with anything new.
We are more than happy to do a comparison video showing the difference in quality and think it would be a good idea.
@@Motourev I think you are missing the point here. They STOLE my design. There's no comparison to be made. Supporting criminal Chinese factories like this is what will squeeze the life out of innovative motorcycle companies. Vote with your money. Purchasing knockoffs will destroy the soul and creativity in our industry. It's shortsighted at best.
@@ATLASMoto as we have said we are more than happy to make a video demonstrating your product and it if proves better and value for money then the comparison will be good.
I would be very interested to try the Atlas product and show the viewers the difference if you would like us to do so.
Whenever there is such a difference in price then the cheaper option is always going to come out on top. Personally I will be going to Amazon for the £40 version of your invention.

Yes that was my 2007 V Strom I was fitting it too, as long as you don't have heated grips with the wire's coming out of the top of the grip, you could use either the top or bottom kit.

She sounds like a v strom… she looks like a v strom…my answer is in between your choices. I bought a second hand atlas for £55 including postage. Solid build quality for almost the Amazon price.
I don't purchase anything from Temu and try to limit my purchases from China. Mainly for philosophical reasons like their use of slave labor, genocide and other human rights abuses. There are lots of good products from Vietnam and other Asian countries that don't use toxic chemicals to produce their products. China uses lead based paint and other harmful materials.
