@@rejjie_thedeity Microsoft doesn't own shit. Pocketpair partnered with Sony and Aniplex for merchandising and anime. Microsoft partnered early on to stabilize the servers when the game released on GamePass. Pocketpair is indie.
Nintendo should fund their games not lawyers, Pokemon is an abused and neglected child that is fiercly protected anyway. GameFreak needs funds and longer developing time, they are only sueing an Indie Company because Palworld took the deal with Sony lol Palworld is more like ARK: Survival Evolved than Pokemon anyway
Yeah and even if Palwold was like POkemon like Nintendo lawyers say and so Palwor'ds existence is hurting their fiscal quarters. That's just mark that devs oughta step up their game and make better pokeymans games. Honestly, gamefreak has grown too complacent on top of the monster catching genre and it shows.
Sony got Palword for Nintendo, there will also be a mobile game version, an animated series, and even a possible live action movie if Sony doesn't cancel it.
Their deal is with Sony music and Aniplex, so a marketing campaign, anime, and potential music talent backing for it are probably the first things that will happen. Sony Pictures, while a part of the same family of corporations, would need to be a completely separate contract because they aren't one big perfectly interlocking corporation, and history has shown most of the family don't speak to each other frequently. So a live action movie isn't certain, especially when Palworld doesn't have much of a overarching story yet.
@@TheRealAlpha2 In the article about Dr. Serkan Toto's interview, there was a reference to a possible live action movie when the Japanese game industry consultant talked about PocketPair's plans for merchandising their Pals and how their future plans and the upcoming agreement with Sony has scared Nintendo the most and made Nintendo act like mafia. That's where I picked up that.
The best part is, Nintendo acting on Palworld is indirectly telling them "you're doing better than us at our own franchise" which will encourage palworld to not just keep going, but also that they're in the right direction. When I played it before any updates I felt a connection with the pals I haven't had with pokemon since around black and white. Where I wanted to help them and work together with them and Palworld had creatures in cages that I not only freed, but worked with to free the rest. Something pokemon hasn't done since generation 1 and 2 (yes they did this, taem rocket was known for a reason) and tbh I get why; pokemon is now for a much younger and sensitive generation of kids. Kids who (for some reason) can't cope seeing blood in a fighting show, pokemon suffering in the anime or even movies where a gun is showed and feared (wallace and gromit, still show this uncensored. Good for them!) but thats another can of worms I don't want to rant about. What I'm saying is, pokemon has changed direction and now its all about simple designs and easy battles with stories that a 3 year old could understand. Which isn't bad but it isolates the older fans that made them who they were and refusing to acknowledge them will cause them to leave right? Maybe to a game that isn't afraid to take risks like pokemon did... like palworld or digimon. If Nintendo really wanted to fight palworld, they do it with a better series of games and acknowledge their older fanbase. Even with something as simple as a "hard mode" option.
Pokemon tries so hard to be kid friendly and sanitize it becomes so apparent that nothing felt interesting anymore. They also start to dangling shiny pokemon and legendaries that used to be mythical like candies to protagonists. Good job making the franchise so stale and ultra safe for toddlers lol

Hey I realized awhile ago that Nintendo law suit is bs because.there is a Rick and Morty episode that involves the Pope and Rick catching the pope in an actual pokeball and later on Rick battle's a monster with the pope like a poke battle. Exact same mechanics and same battle system. 😂 Is Nintendo gonna sue Rick and Morty creators for using the same mechanics 😊
Well those are sort of different that's a tv show not a game with with similar mechanics cause the lawsuit is based on gameplay mechanics and similarities to pokemon even tho Nintendo patented the throwing and catching and even the ball shaking movement when it's in the ball around 2 months after palword was released they patented those and a couple other gameplay mechanics to stop any other companys from making another sort of creature catching so only Nintendo can be the only company to make those kind of games and not lose their pokemon fanbase
@@hookahsmokingcaterpillar9343 yes but they are suing over the mechanism of catching and and using a ball to catch the mechanic is also used in Rick and Morty but if they gonna be biased on the use of the mechanic and were it's used and how it's used it can be argued that they are only going after palworld to pick on them and not for the actual mechanics witch still makes there lawsuit bs 🤣
The lawsuit is bs but the reason why they don't go after the creators of Rick and Morty is cause it's a tv show and what they're going after is gameplay mechanics patent lawsuit not not copyright there totally different patent is for like mechanics of games created inventions and new products copyright is for like literary works artists works music TV movies and radio copyright only allows exclusive right to the owner of the copyright to determine how their work can be used like how the creators of Rick and Morty allowed the spin off anime series to be created

Exactly. I was gonna wait till it went on sale, but then after hearing about the lawsuit, I decided to buy it, just to help in their fight. Here's $30 towards your lawyers, and if it does somehow get pulled, there's an offline mode, and they can't take what you've already purchased.

It’s funnny nitendo didn’t get angry at genshin impact maybe cuz there are lots of botw look likes on switch or cuz it’s Chinese company. Makes me wonder if the Pokémon company just feels threatened cuz it’s their turf
While I like Genshin Impact, Nintendo probably wont dared to attack a china company due to the already racial tension (foster by the chinese government) and the amount of market in china is too big to lose for them. Plus since when china give a flying fock bout other countries trademark, they only get piss when u step on their tail.
Nintendo is hands off on the Chinese since they know any litigation will result in unlimited funding from their government if taken too far. Although Krafton is a S.Korean company, they're another big corpo Nintendo doesn't want to go to war in the courts with.
True cause of Nintendo with their patent lawsuit if they win they'll never be another game like palworld with the creature catching again or a palword 2 only the pokemon games or any others Nintendo makes cause they patented around 3-4 gameplay mechanics 2 months after palword to stop any other companys from trying to make a creature catching game cause they didn't want to lose their pokemon fanbase or the revenue it makes the company yearly
If Nintendo didn’t file and try to win lawsuits then they'd never be able to afford to sell their underpowered consoles to people. They'd have to start putting current hardware.

But if the game is bought via Steam, Xbox Game Store or PSN, we can Cross Play
for menasting terra i just grabbed 3 Quivern Botan.. any above level 50 and just took them to menasting. it worked for me and i was on vanilla settings.
So basically the entire lawsuit can be tossed out because palworld is not the only media source or company that has utilized this concept.this lawsuit can be tied to intent to damage or harm another company's name and business
i honestly could care less i'm getting more entertainment from watching nintendo bury these devs with lawsuits. hopefully this pushes nintendo to make a better pokemon games in the future
Giving up ark for this game playing it for first time tonight hopefully it lives up to the hype
Pal world on steam deck is ok. Pretty fun
Sony is one of the main game companies that can out challenge Nintendo and actually have a chance to win. So with Sony on Pocket Pair's side, this is a way of saying they want to save the future of gaming
I was always a PC gamer... but I own a PS5 and bought palworld on ps5 (wish it had multiplayer proper)
Once we get cross play it’ll really boost numbers
Nice to see some positive news for palworld. screw off nintendo, your being jerks! Even for your standards.
"the PC audience and Console Audience are two distinct audiences"
Yes we are, PC Players have consumer rights :3
Yep you also have the right to wait for games 😂.
@@thug-21 we have the most extense library of games of any other platform, you must have been really cucked into believing otherwise, let me guess... PONY?
Krafton fighting for the little guys being bullied and fired by the big guys
My biggest worry for this news is Sony potentially forcing PSN connectivity later on PC.
Pokèmon needs to shut up about being the only monster franchise in existence and accept that there are better franchises than Pokèmon.
I may like Pokèmon, but like all people worldwide, I have the right to like other monster franchises besides Pokèmon as well as having the right to criticize Pokèmon.
Along with Palworld, it's time for Digimon and other monster franchises to have their turn in the spotlight.
Friendly competition and coexistence can drive inspiration and creativity.
Microsoft, PlayStation, and steam aren’t the owners, they all just have it chill
Ubisoft needs a restructuring, but Tencent? Naw man, sure they ain’t woke, but they won’t do skins or permanent EXP boosters, legit pay to win in a single player game, and if there is a booster it’s timed and for real time, so if you get a 24 hour boost, welp you gotta stay up 24 hours. But I got palworld on both Xbox and PlayStation. And besides, I really hope power old essentially becomes a Pokémon competitor because it’s super stupid that Pokémon has not evolved as a franchise really ever since 2018, and even then legends, Arceus got rushed and was kinda sorta unpolished, it was an amazing step forward for the franchise, but even then they never did anything with it until relatively recently with legends Z - a. But I believe of power old were to have an animated series. I do believe But I believe of power old were to have a animated series. I do believe they’d be able to explore more mature subjects that Pokémon is unable to four it’s extremely family, friendly marketing.
If only nintendo followed sega’s mindset, they wouldn’t need to fund their law firms and give the people what they want.
Hey, I think I found your other channel. 🎉
its like all of these companies are jumping on an opportunity to topple Nintendo's litigious practices
At this point, ubisoft has to lose control over themselves because of how they diversified themselves into toxicity
Ubisoft won't go anywhere in the right direction as long as they have a dei department. Same goes for any company.
Hey, Nintendo? Remember how you ripped off the monster designs from the original Dragon Quest for Pokémon?
Some pokemon are base out of japanese folklore if I'm correct.just like Anubis which was based from ancient Egypt deities
@@badgirldidntdonothin Yeah... SOME.
the situation with Nintendo makes me want to support them even more now xD
Palworld isnt going away, the lawsuit is only in Japan and its a trademark issue with the way we catch Pals, Nintendo is saying using the Sphere is too much like using the ball to catch Pokeman. They are not suing in America and other places because bullshit suits like this go nowhere. If Palworld was in trouble they would have never released it. It didnt release in Japan because of the suit.
They should add local split screen
Nintendo shoud sue Xbox for using A, B, X, Y on their comtrollers.
Can we play with K&M on Ps5 ?
Yes you can
Tencent have been fumbling IP, but I guess they have money.
The whole demanding thing is creating a free publicity. 😅
Can we get cross play before mobile, i hate that you have to join servers and there’s passwords and that if the host isn’t online you can’t join the server… I can’t play it until the multiplayer is better… it’s boring playing by myself even if I had other players like I did, we would be facing each other? That’s boring, the name is “Palworld” we should be able to literally play with or against anybody in the world, idk how they can fix the multiplayer but it needs a better multiplayer experience, only 32 players but only a few play… Hope this game can expand soon… sad ;( I want to pvp and even play with other platforms
Sony, Microsoft, Pc, and Mobile all singing Palworlds praises while nintendo acts like that one insufferable sibling noone likes.
i like the game BUT Some of the world just dont look finish, theres a pit at the end of a bridge that isnt ment to be there and the texture coming together bearly makes it walkable. climbing over multiple objects can be abit meh and the building system needs work. The alignment is pretty bad in some cases. Roofs didnt snap to other roofs ect. the Game times me out every so often and iv had the game freeze, meshing in areas is terrible, mesh not layered correctly (as in grass can be floating or under the ground) landscape moving up and down, tree respawn throe placed foundations when you load back in and it has terrible a.i. this was all seen within the first 10 hours of gameplay, very much rush unfinished or inexperienced devs...... Overall thou. if you can ignore all this.. at a smaller cost than a full priced game its ok enough to get 100 hrs out of it.
Do what ever they want, just get Division 3 out the door.
Lol doesn't trump have a claim to the your fired phrase 😂 how is this different?
@@israellopez9766 in simple terms ones for TV/movies ones for inventions/game mechanics if you don't understand the difference between the two you can search it up you do got Google
Where the hell is the physical copies Wukong and Palworld. This digital shit is ridiculous.
i want this game so badly, but ill wait to buy it until the nintendo thing is sorted out. Because i don't want to buy a game, get obsessed with it, then never be able to play it again a week later because nintendo took it down (if nintendo takes it down)
Buy it anyway. If Nintendo wants to take it down they'll have to sue Pocketpair in every country it's available in which includes the US which has already slapped down the patents Nintendo filed previously.
Exactly. I was gonna wait till it went on sale, but then after hearing about the lawsuit, I decided to buy it, just to help in their fight. Here's $30 towards your lawyers, and if it does somehow get pulled, there's an offline mode, and they can't take what you've already purchased.
Game was not dead because of nintendo, because there was no challange and no pvp
I wonder can't playstation an Xbox buy ownership of palworld because if they don't Nintendo can't shut it down if they own it
looking forward for palworld mobile , anyways, I am no lawyer nor developer but i wish and i hope pocketpair win the lawsuit , let them do what they can do and support them. I am big fan of pokemon too but come on nintendo can you let it slide this one ?
bought a copy on pc and then again on ps5
Actually, Nintendo fanboys were the ones who were outraged at genshin impact bc of the whole quote on quote "copying botw"
Irrelevant Nintendont is so fuming right now ~ 😂😂😂
I hate all of this fueding. Because now that means palworld will never have any chance to be on switch.
True cause of Nintendo with their patent lawsuit if they win they'll never be another game like palworld with the creature catching again or a palword 2 only the pokemon games or any others Nintendo makes cause they patented around 3-4 gameplay mechanics 2 months after palword to stop any other companys from trying to make a creature catching game cause they didn't want to lose their pokemon fanbase or the revenue it makes the company yearly
and maybe Nintendo will get over itself and release Pal World on Switch 😎
Pokemon is a card game once they ventured into gaming.....they started copying other games also....
Everytime you say the developers name i keep hearing Crapped-on, lmfao!
Bro get to the point
If Nintendo didn’t file and try to win lawsuits then they'd never be able to afford to sell their underpowered consoles to people. They'd have to start putting current hardware.
cult of mush???
39€ it’s free in xbox. Ahah dat make no sense we have genshin. Ecc. Btw no plus, gacha. On dat shitty shit I have to pay plus and if I wanna play single player with/out plus I have to disconnect WiFi 🤣🤣🤣tf trow dat shit away THE FUCK
Btw shit game and graphics and I have to pay? Ahahaha
Nintendo should start to shut up all there games past 10 years where trash... they should learn from this and create good games for once
nintendo is fcked 😂 they are only going to be good for mario after this!
Sorry but this game is stupid
Just like you
