    I ran my first 2 marathons using HR, not enough volume. I finished the first week of your 4 hour plan. I ran 7 miles at 137 BPM at 9:04 pace! I felt awesome even at 140+ BPM, but still backed off to under 140. Thanks to you I’m going to break 4:00.00 at Chicago

      You are fit RF. Keep up the great work. I know you'll dip under 4 hours.

    Trying easy runs at 9-10 min/mile feels great and lets me run longer easy runs (instead of what I recently did which was about 8 min/mile). I'm feeling some improvement already, I did a 4 mile threshold at 6:19 pace yesterday! I'm Aiming for sub-17 5k some time in this XC season, I want to be more competitive in races and win some of my high school races hopefully!

      You are definitely fit zyman if you can drop 4 miles at 6:19 mile pace. VERY well done. Keep up the great work and me posted on your progress. You're doing awesome.

    We’re slaves to the watches these days! We’ve forgotten what running to feel is like, I’m guilty of it too. Easy runs shouldn’t have a pace they should feel easy and conversational!

    As maf training revolves around a specific heart rate, this is the one thing that I’m not sure if I should commit to without a chest strap heart rate monitor. I go based off my Garmin on my wrist and I’m not too sure how accurate it is.
    Thanks for the daily listen/ awesome content. Also a heat training video since the summer time is here in Texas would be nice 👍🏼

    Hey coach, just bought your 20 week half marathon plan last night. I'll start it on June 10th when I get back to the states. I'm a newer runner who's spent last two months base training. I've worked up to about 25 miles a week. I noticed first week starts off with a mileage of about 30. Do you think that's too big of a jump or should I be fine as long as I recover during my easy runs? Thanks and the program looks great, would recommend 💯
    Edit: I'll be doing some easy runs 4-6 miles during my vacation so I won't lose any fitness when I get back

      @rundreamachieve  Місяць тому +1

      Hey Patrick and wishing you great success in your marathon build up. You made a winning move aiming at 20 weeks. You can adjust the mileage from 30 to 22-25 during that first week. Also, adjust as needed the mileage throughout the program. It is a guide but ALWAYS listen to your body first. If you feel overly fatigued, replace a hard session with a jog, if needed. Keep up the superior work! 👊✊👊✊

    Hi coach , QQ- how do you approach incline / short hills in a marathon race .. just maintain effort still or slow down so that you wouldn’t over do it ? The marathon I have signed up for in October has some hills but nothing significant, thanks

    • @rundreamachieve
      @rundreamachieve  Місяць тому +1

      I would just maintain your effort and do your best to stay relaxed and in control. Good luck in your marathon in October, know you are going to do awesome Callum

    Sir I have a question is that lactate threshold pace workout is all out efforts or not
