Good to see your back and looking well. Look forward to the next season. And yes to Ted, go on, go on, go on...... oh, have a wonderful Christmas and Best Wishes for the New Year
So cool to see you return to this channel making videos again! Have always really enjoyed the vibe of your videos😊 And yes, if it still is a video idea of yours I'd love to see you going for a tea at Father Teds house! It's definitely on my bucket list anyway :D
Thank you! I'm glad to be back. I'll look into having tea in Father Ted's house, I know it was possible a few years ago so hopefully it still is. It would be so cool 😂 Hopefully you get to see Father Ted's house soon! 🤞🏻
Thanks a lot! 😄 As far as I know, they've always charged people but usually larger film crews. Filming solo is completely different and less intrusive. Plus they're still public areas at the end of the day. And as Neil said, it's free advertising for them. So they're a bit lenient. I abide more by the drone laws, flying over crowds etc. But the worst they can do is tell me to take it down 😉
I love the way you talk about the Burren… I love it there so much no matter the weather! And what I find absolutely amazing is that the signs showing the direction to it around the roads read Burren nature sanctuary !!! Not Burren nature heritage or natural park or anything “normal” like that but actually SANCTUARY. And that’s how it feels to me … when I’m walking there the time stops and I feel transported to a different world
Thank you! And you're right, it doesn't matter what the weather is like, the Burren is always beautiful, sometimes the bad weather can make it even more beautiful 😂 It's definitely a sanctuary. It's so peaceful but iconic and easy to enjoy and just be there. Thank you for watching, glad you enjoyed! ☘️
Yes to tea with the priests. GREAT to see you back, you look mighty. The Burren is my homeland. I actually own it. Edmund Ludlow tut tut tut, just goes to show that all is not as it seems at a glance. The Burren is brimming with life and has more water within it than Ludlow could was his wig in. That may be the beauty of the place, to know it you have to spend time there. Then you won't ever forget it. Looking forward to the new videos and LOVE the drone footage. What a county
I'm trying to find out about tea in Father Ted's house, would be a cool video! Haha thanks Carrie. You own the Burren 🤔 so I'm ok to film there any time I want then? 😅 That's exactly it, loads of life there, just have to look for it and spend time there. Will be back with more next month!
Welcome back, It's been way too long since we saw you. Yes to tea with the sheep at Father Ted's house. Very much looking forward to seeing what you get up to in season 2. This is a great video, funny, poignant and educational. It was very interesting to hear about the bodies being aged and all the other info.
I would love u to research the Tubridy family in Moyasta. There was a Governor General, An international show jumper, a Captain Tubridy. There were also 3 English Captains billeted with them, one of whom was murdered by the IRA. My grandparents were so upset as were all my uncles and aunts. They always said that he was such a lovely man. This was during the time of the Black and Tans. There was a map printed showing the most important families in each county in Ireland and the Tubridys were shown for Clare. There were also ashtrays with the same info. Don't know what else was made. It would be interesting if u cud do a programme on them. Sadly, the house is now a ruin although the 2 sons of the last owner JohnJoe Tubridy still live in the area. JohnJoe was my uncle. I am especially interested in the Governor General. Was he English? You may be interested.
Thank you! I learnt that recently. The first people of the Burren are said to come from the Clan of Corcumraud, which is where the nearby Corcomroe Abbey gets it's name. They're the people that they think built it, around 4000ish BC. They can't date when they arrived because their dwellings were wooden, so they've dated their arrival by the dating of the Dolmen.
Thank you Michael ....... great work ☘ the Irish Girl
Yay you’re back! Step by step, that’s how a thing is done 🙌
Thank you! That's it, bit by bit. How's the writing going for you?
Good to see you back my friend the drone works wonders

Well done. Good to see you back.
OPW want you to pay to film at their sites now. You might run into that a bit more.
Very shortsighted it's free advertising

@TheIrishGuyVlogs yes work away. Fly your drone. You'll save me climbing the hills checking on things 😄
@@careybarrett5808 😂😂 Lol deal 🤝🏻
Incredible that they can find out about the Down Syndrome person after so many years. A thoroughly interesting vlog, David. Thanks for posting.
My thoughts exactly! 🤯 It's amazing! Thanks for wathcing 😄🍀

I've never heard of them but I will take a look into some local history archives! Thanks for letting me know 😄
There were no Celts in the Neolithic.
How did they get that up there like that? did humans even carry out this
Very smart humans or giants 😅
Pre-Celtic. Neolithic tombs were built by the people who populated Ireland prior to the Celts' arrival.
