I just moved from Oklahoma to Green Bay WI. I officially retired from Truck driving after 33yrs of it. I will still watch your videos. It's getting too dangerous out there.
Hey I'm OLD! And I am an American and I can vouge for this man and his amazing channel. Been hanging around for a few years and Josh is the most genuine, humble, accidentally hilarious family man trucker and UA-camr. I appreciate you Josh and I'm happy you're still on the road.
Great video Josh. You went past our exit north of Madison. We have the same complaint about dump trucks with no mud flags and load covers too. 39/90 is a great route to bypass Chicago. The traffic is really bad on 80 going east but you made it through okay. We travel this way to visit family in Michigan. Safe travels.
I wish I could buy you lunch, but you rarely get into the SE part of Wisconsin. Mostly blowing thru. You are wise to avoid the pitfalls of heavier traffic. Love the dedication you have towards your work - hope others can and will learn from your examples.
Everyone goes the wrong way there at the Kwik Trip. Welcome your club. I have 2 “rock stars“ on my windshield b/c of no mud flaps. $140 worth of rock stars.
You might want to check out the video of the accident on Interstate 64 where the trucker "lost "his trailer (a dump truck type of trailer) and the trailer hit the overhead sign and caused a BIG TRAFFIC JAM. The video is on WTVR CHANNEL 6 out of Richmond Virginia
Not all Canadians use metric. Some of us Canadians have been around a little longer. A lot of industry still use Imperial measurement. Construction is still imperial
I have driven through and around chicago and it is very nerve racking. They drive very fast on the interstates through the city and they have no patience through out the city and the traffic is thick all the time
Chicago is a wonderful city to visit, but like you, Trucker Josh, it's terrible driving in the city and is a horrible driving experience and it's frightening they way 4-wheelers zoom around in and out of traffic. Take care and drive carefully Trucker Josh.
The only times I've ever gotten chipped windshields with rocks was behind a dump truck, even with mud flaps. Yeah, that doesn't make sense at all to not have mud flaps.
Josh, I have seen dump trucks that have Wisconsin License Plates with mud flaps in the rear and I live in Wisconsin. I live between Milwaukee and Chicago on Lake Michigan. I have family in suburban Chicago and we take I 94 to I 294 around Chicago, but still pay the tolls. Illinois Tollway Authority has reduced the toll plazas and went to open road tolling, so no stopping to pay the tolls. I do wish that you can come to my part of Wisconsin (far southeast part of the state) so I can meet you in person. I am surprised that you Canadians learn both Metric and the American measurements. Metric is used in Arizona on Interstate 19 from Tucson down the the Mexican border, and that is the only place in America that used Metric. Everywhere else used miles, feet, yards and inches. By the way, 100 kph is 62.5 mph and 80 kph is 50 mph. One meter is about 39 inches (just over 1 yard or 3 feet). I an teaching myself metric for when I do go and visit Canada for the first time.
When we lived in Arizona, gravel truck got a rock caught between the back tires. When traveling down the road, rock came loose, killed the person in the car behind the truck. Very sad, not sure if there was flaps or not, think the rock was big enough to not be deterred by them.
Hey Josh, specific to water, you are correct as to fresh water freezing at 32 deg F (which you noted at 0 deg C). So what do you refer to the freezing point of salt water? (Hint: Salt water freezes at 28.4 deg F, which is -2 deg C). Be careful of the type of water that you are trying to walk on. (-:
The old archaic imperial system is ancient. The metric system is based on 10, 100, 1000....millimeter, centimeter, kilometers....etc etc...units of the meter....1 unit..not inch, foot, yard, mile, chain....

Very glad you found a parking spot. Good people to let you park there. ❤

I always love the way you have the maps at the begining of the vlog.... 👍

Hey Josh
I am watching you from Middle East KSA since 2019

Been watching Josh for about 2 years now, don't know why exactly, but this is one of my favorite You Tubers!

It`s like music in my Nowegian ears, that you gave up measurments and speed in miles 😄
One day, you need the song, I'm in a hurry by Alabama as in your intro song 😂😂😂
nice video…. i prefer 80 also, they did a lot of work on that road, will go there again next week on my trip to galesburg
I hope you get home in time.
Have a safe trip home.
Drive safe Josh
hey Josh, love the sayings on your T Shirts!! gives me a giggle or 2!!😂😂
Be careful Josh the world is changing and not necessarily for the good.
Metric makes more sense but we like to think about our math down here.
Nice job tying down those trailers.
Stay safe
I know your feeling. I worked in the Aurora area, and when we where going down town Chicago I refused to drive. I left that to my american friends 😅
Hi Bro. In Scotland 426 miles is known as A WEE BIT DOON THE ROAD lol

Oh, sometimes you gotta go through big cities, but when we can avoid them, we will
wow, you stopped right near where I live!
Them Jake brakes.... 😊
Nothing like trucking with a load of sailboat fuel.😂
Good choice. I’ve done the I-39 and I-80 workaround also.
I agree that metric makes sense. But I can't make it make sense
Those darn turnpikes in Missouri, Oklahoma and Indiana are expensive
I live in Missouri and know of no toll roads in Missouri, Oklahoma yes
Be Careful Trucker Josh don't get shot !!
As an American science teacher, I prefer metric!
I'm not new here but I would like to say hello to everyone
I noticed in Iowa the same thing. dump trucks, no mud flaps, and no covers on top of the load.
Not all Canadians use metric. Some of us Canadians have been around a little longer. A lot of industry still use Imperial measurement. Construction is still imperial
metric rules!!!! 🥳
And tools to rack up expenses
They tried to convert to metric back in the early 80's. It didn't take off
metrics all the way. Greetings from mainland Europe

Hi brother, how are you today? I hope you are doing well. Why do you get paid per mile instead of per kilometer? Could you explain that please

I need that shirt josh.
