Wow. Just wow. This is on a whole other level than the "awkward" performances on AGT. If the show was honest from the start about the fact that she had previously competed on The Voice the year before she did AGT and if they did not try to pass her off as shy and awkward she could have won AGT. This is the real Courtey and she's a lot better than the fake version we got to see on AGT.
But she really was shy with such a big stage and millions watching. So many who know her even commented about that saying if she feels comfortable and she knows you, she's very fun and outgoing, but if not then she's nervous and reserved as most teenagers who are coming of age into an adult world are. A few, maybe not, but most are. As for the previous competitions, you must know just about everyone of those who are in these shows have already been on other shows and most are even making a good living at what they do. I think you just bought into the nonsense of some haters trying to convince people that she wasn't worthy of competing against other peoples favorites. That's what I believe really caused all the hoopla. Voice kids was a 1st year, barely watched show, with around 3-5 hundred people in the audience. AGT was one of the biggest venues for bands to play at besides sports arenas and was the number 1 TV show rating wise in the US with millions watching and a huge production compared to any other show. I think any 13 year old who wasn't used to that would have been very inward about being there. Her body language show just how nervous she really was. Courtney's ability to shut out her surroundings once the music start is what makes her so unique. She thrives on the music. And she has so much passion. Sorry for the long post. But your comment has been said before and it almost ruined a reputation that was conjured up by haters. It needs to be cleared up as to what really happened. False Gossip is what kills people's reputations.
