Just got ruby red Gen S lenses. WOW. When it's a real sunny day they are very soothing on the eyes and has a nice ruby red color. It's cool when looking at black top roads there is a ruby red tint to it. They transition to clear very fast indoors. Hopefully they can make ruby red for extractive and extractive Polarized some day. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND RUBY RED.

I have a somewhat oversized gold titanium frame and want the ruby with a gold flash, adding a very light gradient copper or amber tint to the base.

You should make a video showing the other colors as well in the new generation, I’m on the fence about getting some glasses in the Gen S sapphire blue and I’m wondering what it looks like in all its transitioning phases. From what I can see in your other video it looks like it’s a more rich true blue, so I wonder what that looks like in all transitioning phases.:)

I just got mine a few days ago and mine doesn't get that dark and look more od a brownish red yours looks more red i use a uv light then tried in sun and the sun was bright and only went tinted a little bit 😢 i even watch thia video before i ordered cause i was gonna get the blue , green or red and i loved how the red looked ...do you think it was where i got them
It's hard to say without being able to see yours. Any Ruby that I have made looks exactly like the one in this video. Brown and Amber look more well, Brown and Amber. If you were my customer I would hold your lenses next to my Ruby sample lens, and compare the two to see if yours color matches. I hope that helps.
I’ve got the Gen 8 and the Gen S both in Sapphire blue .
There is No difference in the colours whatsoever!!
however the gen s does change go clear a quite a bit quicker
How do Gen S do in the car? If I'm looking for a pair for mixed office and Driving use - should I got with Active or Gen S?
If you add a 25/0 gradient tint and then add the Transitions S Ruby, that might work out for indoor/outdoor use. I have one that is 25/0 gray gradient tint with photochromic and sapphire mirror. It looks great.
Are you able to add a mirror coating and tints on the ruby transition lenses?

That's a good question. It's been a long time since I seen a prescription that could not be made in a Transitions lens. It's available in Hi Index 1.67, so the max limit is pretty high. Curious how close to migraine red they are
They look similar, but I would not use these as a sub for FL41. As I understand it, FL41 is designed to provide comfort from indoor lighting, but Gen S Ruby will be fully clear indoors.
How do it works in car drivning ?

Love that colour I’m going to get it in my new sixties sun frames. I’d love to see what they look like with a sapphire flash mirror!

Thanks! I did a fire red indoor tint that darkens to Ruby, but did not have time to make a long form video. I may have a Short to post soon.
