The fact that golden sarc is a one card starter to land you a colossus is crazy but awesome. It can be put in any deck. Kind of like how Red eyes fusion cheats out dragoon very easily. Lots of bricks, but awesome if you can land it
The pure Snake-Eye combo is kinda scary honestly, but definitely glad they lost Savage and Baronne
But so did we. Im still glad there are less generic omni negates around, but it feels weird playing certain decks now
Ringowurm is the solution if you wanna search Corridor. Ringo and Hugin into Cupid Pitch. Ringo banish itself from GY to summon a token (this gives you a banished monster for Corridor to target). Then you can reduce Cupid lvl to go into Herald of Arc Light, or increase its lvl to go into any synchro 8. What's cute is the token is a Wyrm, so you can make Chixao or Baxia. This also allows us to make the White Woods synchro 8 when that comes out and trigger the eff to add any S/T from GY.
I hope we get more Yugioh video games in the future, I miss playing story modes.
With malicious at 3 and bystials in the main for tearlaments they can banish easy and have it be an impactful summon/banish at the cost of running corridor as a brick.

If we look results at master duel they are still legal and still didn't do anything with pure snake eyes in the format
Protos is actually fucked up in Vanquish Soul. Searchable with a very small swordsoul/ wyrm engine. They have all types they need for either Eschatos or Protos

As an Avid Thunder Dragon fan, I can honestly say that indeed, Colossus unbanning isn't anything special. I was in the Duelist Cup on Master Duel and Colossus was barely a speed bump to snake eyes. I think they have it limited to 1 because the power creap has made it almost irrelevant to the current meta. Sadly.
In vacuum they are really good.
In the current meta state, they are Table 500 material.
They aren’t even table 500. They just been power crept. Too many decks nowadays activate cards directly from the deck for Colossus to really matter

I won’t take credit for the discovery but branded fusion is a 1 card colossus + predaplant Dragos which is an insane board ngl especially into fire decks. The best part is since branded banished stuff with cards like branded in red etc the cards aren’t even total bricks. I think branded with a thunder dragon package should be mandatory this format. It’s so free in the at deck.

Haggard Lizardose says hi! That's why I've been saying that card is MUCH better than people realize so far; its a banish on command with any 2 monsters including tokens! Expect to see it in a lot of decklists very soon (namely Thunder Dragon decks)

Protos is pretty dogwater game 1 and takes a good amount of invesment and colossus literally loses to a single little knight or typhon making it almost unplayable i do think out of the two colossus has the most future potential tho just cause of the summoning condition

These cards are trash now so it’s fine for them to get unbanned like they did. Outside of banning some generic Omni-negates which I was happy about for the most part but outside of that the banlist was trash.

None of these cards are that bad. Meta decks are so modular and toolboxy now the power creep is real. Most cards activate directly from deck now or can gain advantage by sending direct to gy
Protos would have the best chance to see play out of the two, and colossus is just trash with everything currently in the game.
In hindsight after YCS Raleigh. Both card's didnt make a single impact.
