I use the coin holders as well but I mix the glitters with uv resin. Stick them under the light, topcoat with uv resin, and under the light again. So much faster than regular resin. I also use black acrylic paint on half of the coin holder so you can see what the glitters will look like on a dark base.
That's a really great idea about the 1/2 dark base! I really enjoy using UV resin but I usually mix up enough Epoxy when working on other projects that I can knock out a couple of coin samples with the tiny bit of extra epoxy. If I'm in a rush, I'll definitely use some UV resin. Thanks for the tips! 🥰
I do these, but I keep the coin capsules in coin sleeves, in a 6” binder. I also mix the glitter and epoxy in a cup and then pour it in the coin holder.
@@KristisCustomCreations yeah I used the cases for a while. However, I have 300+ glitters and it became a pain to see my options, so I decided that I needed to figure out a better process.
@@Jsunsetsky87 Yes, with 300+ glitters that definitely can turn in to a pain. A binder is definitely a better way to showcase them with so many colors.
The glitter is so pretty I wish I could get it in Canada 😩. Just wondering do you have all your glitter names memorized? Or would you benefit from labelling them on the back? Just a suggestion I’m sure your business is going to take off.
I currently have all of the names memorized but I will definitely be putting the names on the back of all my samples. I would love to ship to Canada at some point, just need to figure out the best way to do shipping.

Great idea! I though about doing a binder also but ended up just doing the case. LOL

I LOVE this! Do you do something similar with mica powders?
Thank you! 🥰 I actually display my mica powders burnished on to a spoon spray painted black. 😊

@@KristisCustomCreations ❤️❤️❤️
Kristi's Custom Creations It would be so awesome if you could get all your pretties to her in Canada
I also use these coin holders, but I have not figured out a method I like to name the glitter and maker without messing it up. Any ideas?
I will most likely print small labels with the glitter names and put them on the back side of the coin holders at some point.
BEAUTIFUL 😍 Very creative idea to share with customers!! ❤🤍💙 Constantly amazed by you.
Aww!! Thank you so much! 🥰🥰🥰
Great way to showcase your glitter! They are so pretty, I bet people are going to want to buy the samples and make something creative out of them!
