In honor of Allen Ludden's 100th birthday (October 5, 1917), here's an episode of Mind Your Manners from June 26, 1948, the radio show that Allen hosted on WTIC out of Hartford, Connecticut. This was the first show that Americans got to hear Allen, NBC carried the show for a while.

Allen Ludden was also a high school English teacher in Austin, TX before he got into show business. Whenever he had contestants on Password who were teachers, he always need teachers.
