This goes to show how many of us musicians get in our own way and overthink every detail until we’re totally paralyzed. Sometimes, you just need to get in a room with a bunch of people IN REAL LIFE and commit to writing a song a day. Restriction can sometimes breed creativity to a new or different level you didnt think was possible. Not 1 bad song written was written from any band that week. Wanna give a huge shoutout to Soulfire. The combined musicianship in your band is crazy, fantastic songwriting that felt original, especially combined with Vince‘ voice, and you guys put so much effort into rehearsing and improving your songs right until the end and performed then on a tighntess level I didn‘t think was possible after one week. After this finale you should’ve taken the win in my book and I wanna give a little extra credit to Logan who I feel played a big part in all of this. Great job, guys! 👏🔥
Unpopular opinion but SoulFire is so under appreciated and I loved them as a band. I really loved seeing them pull together and what looked like all long time friends who went different directions but came back to reunite. So Far Away was a banger and so was the song with Austin. Also I just really could care less for 80s hair metal music but I am officially now a fan of Ricky. Especially since he looked the most out of place but always being a team player and looking like such a great person to be around throughout the show.
Soulfire's performance in this episode was far and away the best one for me. The fact that they came in _third_ here feels like it shouldn't be possible, but it speaks to the unreal, inhuman levels of talent and showmanship present in everyone on this show, in all the bands. Absolutely incredible job, all of you. I genuinely hope all these bands live on past this show, I want to hear more from all of you

Just here to say Alexa's drumming got so much tighter during the performance and I genuinely feel so proud of her just watching her absolutely KILL on stage!! Everybody was amazing :>
@@luvrix Seeing them perform was such a treat, really. Austin offering the mic to the crowd during that last song was amazing. Gonna be hard, since Trivium is one of the biggest bands in Metalcore. Matt’s also extremely busy with family shit as well. Would be hard to get him here.
I'm really glad that you took the criticism from the first season and implemented it into this one. The focus really was on the music and that's what it's all about. I like that the goofy stuff was just in the little skits and side quests. All of the bands were fantastic, they sounded incredible on the stage, and any one of them could have taken the win. im surprised they didnt i enjoyed justins bass solos far more than either of the other 2 just because it had some cool unique stuff. personal preference i guess
Thank you Jared for this amazing opportunity to work with such incredible people and giving me a chance to really challenge my musicianship ❤ I am incredibly grateful to have done this 🥲🙏 big shoutout for the crew at Calibertv and Ashtone audio for making season 2’s production phenomenal!
Soulfire takes the cake in my book. I did not expect to like them at the beginning of the season but they grew to be my favorite. When Vince joined aeris on stage it really changed the chemistry of that band. They seemed more comfortable and confident during that song. Logan is a hero. Fantastic job. Soulfire needs justice
This season was such a huge improvement on last year. More music content and less random stuff, and when there were non-musical challenges they were tasteful. Very nicely done
@@allancavalcante8170 you can absolutelely still hear the breath of the live drums. It sounds great. Mixing in triggered signal is the way to go especially in Metal. You aint getting that real larger than life slam otherwise that SO many metal songs really benefit from
Honestly, I would prefer raw audio from the camera instead of edited performances to see how they actually did. Not talking mixed, talking edited. Snare and kick sounds like sample replaced, but I get it, most people will think it's all real sound from that night.
Jared, this new season was phenomenal. Way more music based and less Fear Factor, the bands were random and not prechosen, and you had 3 separate judges from yourself, and it made the season great. You really took the first season and made every improvement I wanted to see. Great job
Jared, I love that you listened to viewer feedback after season 1 and created a format that put music (rather than "content") front and centre for season 2. This was a captivating watch! Awesome job everyone in all three bands :D
The real winners are all of us. This was an absolutely fantastic show and I’m looking forward to listen to all the songs that came out of this. Thank you Soulfire, Graystone and Aeris! And Thank you Jared!
Can we talk about how every single band did fantastic? like holy shit. I hope this goes down in history as like, the coolest thing that has every happened ever.
Graystone was the best live performance IMO but all the bands killed it, this was an absolute treat to watch this year. Keep it up Jared! GRAYSTONE FOR LIFE
The roasts could've actually been good this time around, though I'm sure there'd still be plenty of ego protecting because musicians can't take jokes lol
I liked their songs and such, but for me, Vince was about 80% of what was needed vocally. I feel the same way about Kacey's clean singing, too. I heard her *really* support her voice while singing cleanly only a couple of times and it took away from the song because of the lack of support. Plus I think there were more high notes needed in places.
Phenomenal improvement on the production of the series. Felt like an actual reality music show in all the best ways. Really entertaining and inspiring to watch. Each band killed their live performance! Hoping for many more seasons just like this 🙏🏻
*SPOILER* Atleast I’m respectful enough to announce the spoiler. Soulfire should’ve won first. Aries was good, but soulfire? That was immaculate chemistry
My favorite for this season is definitely Soulfire. They combined every aspect of each other and united into one sound. I really like how every person in this band has their own vibes and energy. Especially RIKKIIIIIII. Good Job, Jarred!! 👏👏👏
Every band did amazing, my personal pick would've been Graystone, then Soulfire, then Aeris. But they all had such awesome performances. Kudos to everyone for pulling through and making it all work. Thanks for the awesome show Jared and Angel. You guys killed it this season. Highly look forward to Season 3.
Soulfire's cover of Holy Diver sounded magnificent this time around, not to mention how they redid the duel solo section and ended the song with so much energy. My favorite performance of the show by far. I really thought they were going to win with a set that sounded so good but I had to remember the winner was based on dollar amount! Aeris did a really great job all week, so consistent and David and Kacey are amazing writers. Graystone still delivered what we wanted and proved all week why they were invited back from the first Musician Mansion! A fantastic season, miles better produced than the first!
That‘s interesting, I thought it was one of the weakest songs among the twelve. They couldn’t really make it their own :O but taste matters and that‘s great somehow
Soulfire's set was absolutely incredible, it just felt epic, melodic yet heavy, those harmonies give you chills. Garrett's guitar tone is living in my head rent free, that shiit is TIGHT.
Aeris definitely had the most noticeable glow up throughout the season. Maybe that was by design, but in any case, their overall vibe from episode 1 through now is a complete 180 in the best possible way. And also, the audio from this episode needs to make it into streaming asap. It sounds great and all the songs are legitimately so fucking good.
Honestly need to shoutout Vince, Garrett, Damien and David as quiet mvps. Garrett, David and Damien were PERFECT each and every performance and brought so much consistency to their bands that must've made their bands' lives so much easier. And Vince imo is the MVP of the entire season. Seems like such a wonderful human to be around and absolutely blew my mind every time he had a mic in his hands. Just personally feel like these guys didn't get enough love on screen lol. Thank you Jared for bringing this show to life and can't wait to see what happens next year!!
The mix on these performances was unreal. These songs sounded so good. Of course it's also a testament to the skill of all of the musicians but the mixing definitely gave new life to those songs.
I would have Judged and based the scores on the final sets. This is where all of the bands perfected the songs and practiced for it. Judging on that Soul Fire wins it for me. Very tight and killer Original.
Everyone absolutely killed it in their own way and gave 110%. The real winner is a show everyone will remember man. Well done to everyone involved! MVP for me is Logan. Absolute monster behind a kit. Cheers!
This season was such a huuuuuge step up from the last one. The performances in the end were all 3 absolutely incredible. It's crazy what every band accomplished in just 1 week.
Gotta say I had it as; 1. Greystone 2. SoulFire 3. Areis Respect to all the bands and great performances all round for sure but Austin’s vocals for the gig were class!
As much as I love Austin, Nik and Justin as musicians soulfire did sound so much better as a whole putting on a set, both bands ridiculously talented over Aeris
If Graystone doesn’t drop a full album and tour I’ll be so bummed. All their stuff was fire the whole show. Soul fire was way better performing in front of a crowd. Props to them and Aeris killed it but I’m 100% Graystone all the way those guys are sick.
Feel that, no idea how aeris won, couldn't be because ever since they got criticized the first episode they had to be babied into staying by being told how amazing they were or they would've left the show early. Seems very biased to have one of the most toxic groups of people to be around end up winning a competition about "being the best band overall," literally should have been Graystone or Soulfire. Sad to see we can't hurt sensitive people's feelings anymore. Smh

Can't beat justin's presence. He stands out even off screen. His energy radiates.
Yea and his fry scream tutorial is the best out there imo
Real drums kits really take the songs to another level. Really can't replicate the true sound of one.
These performances were mixed perfectly too which makes the drums pop even more. Kudos to who has done that
@@Alex_Inigma actually there’s a lot of editing in that sound
@@allancavalcante8170 you can absolutelely still hear the breath of the live drums. It sounds great. Mixing in triggered signal is the way to go especially in Metal. You aint getting that real larger than life slam otherwise that SO many metal songs really benefit from
Honestly, I would prefer raw audio from the camera instead of edited performances to see how they actually did. Not talking mixed, talking edited. Snare and kick sounds like sample replaced, but I get it, most people will think it's all real sound from that night.
@SmolinMusic thats complete bs. Nothing sounds edited.
Jared, this new season was phenomenal. Way more music based and less Fear Factor, the bands were random and not prechosen, and you had 3 separate judges from yourself, and it made the season great. You really took the first season and made every improvement I wanted to see. Great job
Graysones' performance gave me chills. Justine and Austin killed it with stage presence.
Austin's song with Soulfire was the comeback the world needed! Harmonies came together, and you absolutely f*cking crushed it!!!!!
They killed it
Greystone: 2025 full U.S. tour
With Bilmuri & Disembodied Tyrant as openers.
Make it happen boys.
Dude, please include Germany too!
add Canada please !
Bilmuri please
bring that shit to the UK!!
Make it a world tour!!
Jared, I love that you listened to viewer feedback after season 1 and created a format that put music (rather than "content") front and centre for season 2. This was a captivating watch!
Awesome job everyone in all three bands :D
This show was SO entertaining I can't believe it's free.
Shhh don’t give them any ideas😩
I feel bad not paying for this honestly. TAKE MY MONEY JARED!!!!
Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
Brooo don't be giving Dines ideas
They should air it on a different streaming service especially one without censorship lol
Wow, all I wanna say is: thank you everyone involved! That was awesome
The real winners are all of us. This was an absolutely fantastic show and I’m looking forward to listen to all the songs that came out of this. Thank you Soulfire, Graystone and Aeris! And Thank you Jared!
Soulfire should keep playing together. But most of all, Rikki and Chena must keep playing together. They look good together on the stage!
Can we talk about how every single band did fantastic? like holy shit. I hope this goes down in history as like, the coolest thing that has every happened ever.
Graystone was the best live performance IMO but all the bands killed it, this was an absolute treat to watch this year. Keep it up Jared!
GRAYSTONE FOR LIFE
Edge of Time sounds insane actually. Might be my favorite from the singer swap. It was heartbreaking to see Austin cry but he came back and delivered.
Graystone have such a contagious, captivating stage presence!
I think all the vocalist swap songs should be released and recorded with both the featured and original vocalists :)
the only criticism i have is that this time there is no roast at the end. that may have been the funniest part of season 1
Yeah, I was waiting for Paula's joke. Sad times.
There was a chicken
@Letskickitup 🤣🤣 exactly
@@Letskickitup explodes bro
The roasts could've actually been good this time around, though I'm sure there'd still be plenty of ego protecting because musicians can't take jokes lol
Graystone frickin crushed it so hard
Critique for Soulfire was so good it seemd like they were going to win
Soulfire my personal favorite but I can see how a case can be made for any of the bands.
Hoping for many more seasons just like this 🙏🏻
Austin doing throat singing wtfffffffff
Soul Fire by far the most interesting band in this lineup. A band I’d actually listen to.
Austin's lows are so fucking sick
Austin is criminally underrated.
*SPOILER* Atleast I’m respectful enough to announce the spoiler.
Soulfire should’ve won first. Aries was good, but soulfire? That was immaculate chemistry
My pants were already off; but, I had to put them back on just to take them off again.
That's how excited I am.
My favorite for this season is definitely Soulfire. They combined every aspect of each other and united into one sound. I really like how every person in this band has their own vibes and energy. Especially RIKKIIIIIII. Good Job, Jarred!! 👏👏👏
Am I the only one who hopes they record these songs with good quality so I can put them on my everyday playlist?
Graystone at least usually does. I think soulfire and aeris probably will as well
Soulfire will do it 100%, they had the vibes going
This IS good quality.
AUSTIN THROAT SINGING IN SOULSTONE WAS NOT ON MY BINGO CARD!!!! AMAZING!!!!
Glad dicky killed this. You all need make album. I'll buy 10
They already are a real band, look them up on UA-cam l, Rikki ilhas a music video🤣
Now that it’s over I can say that Angel looks like every single TV judge ever amalgamated into one
They all nailed it, but Graystone was ROBBED!
G R A Y S T O N E
Jesus, all three bands are just awesome.
Agreed, but I don't think Jesus had anything to do with it, he was busy stealing hubcaps from cars.
I would have Judged and based the scores on the final sets. This is where all of the bands perfected the songs and practiced for it. Judging on that Soul Fire wins it for me. Very tight and killer Original.
Greystone for life 🤘🏻
soulfire was fucking fantastic. best written band and best well rounded sounds
Graystone was robbed, imo.
Everyone did a really great job for real though. Much better show production as well.
Austin's throat singing 🤯 and Holy Diver's ending is pure ascendance
Soulfire was my choice. I realize it’s a culmination of the entire week but based on the final show, I’ll take Soulfire all day (and night).
Everyone absolutely killed it in their own way and gave 110%. The real winner is a show everyone will remember man. Well done to everyone involved! MVP for me is Logan. Absolute monster behind a kit. Cheers!
Some people gave it 50% at most.
This season was such a huuuuuge step up from the last one. The performances in the end were all 3 absolutely incredible. It's crazy what every band accomplished in just 1 week.
Sadly Paula didn't get to tell her amazing joke at the end of this one.
Gotta say I had it as;
1. Greystone
2. SoulFire
3. Areis
Respect to all the bands and great performances all round for sure but Austin’s vocals for the gig were class!
As much as I love Austin, Nik and Justin as musicians soulfire did sound so much better as a whole putting on a set, both bands ridiculously talented over Aeris
Congratulations to everyone!!! So many amazing musicians this season!
If there's a season 3 I would love to see you
Come back for season 3!! If they make it
4:04 Lol Justin, you made me have to check that my playback speed was actually set to 1.0
I absorbed enough energy from the lights.
Graystone
Is Dickey doing Mongolian throat singing? Such a sic concert! I’m salivating at the chance to ever get to participate in something like this someday!
If Graystone doesn’t drop a full album and tour I’ll be so bummed. All their stuff was fire the whole show. Soul fire was way better performing in front of a crowd. Props to them and Aeris killed it but I’m 100% Graystone all the way those guys are sick.
Best songs - Soulfire
Best performance - Greystone
Winner - Aeris?
Feel that, no idea how aeris won, couldn't be because ever since they got criticized the first episode they had to be babied into staying by being told how amazing they were or they would've left the show early. Seems very biased to have one of the most toxic groups of people to be around end up winning a competition about "being the best band overall," literally should have been Graystone or Soulfire. Sad to see we can't hurt sensitive people's feelings anymore. Smh
They made Headstrong good
Thats how you know they're REALLY good, cause that's a tough one to pull 😂😂😂
Jared Dines already did a cover of it, better than Graystone's I feel
Songs perfect original ly
This finale was incredible... blown away at how these bands had minimal time for writing and rehearsal all these songs and they all killed it!
