While we may find there is an organic unfolding of our path of practice in the dharma, there are often clear moments when we take a turn into a deeper commitment to practice. And other times where we are diverted from the path, like an eddy in the stream, not really growing or progressing. We can even disown our bodhisattva nature, which yearns to come alive. As we realize the unworkability of that, we may choose to turn toward and begin to trust in the refuge of practice and give ourselves to the path. This letting go can create a profound shift in our practice.
