Hey nice allen keys, I have a set of those myself, just got the metric set haven't sprung for the imperials yet but but man are they awesome. They have a sale every black Friday.
Good to know they have a sale. I will check it out. PB Tools is the best tool out there bar nothing. The Imperials are in now. You can get them on Amazon or just call Count On tools. I got mine a week or so back.
I really like how the ball ends are formed, it lifts out of a cap screw before jamming like bondhus or others. They also seem to be harder than others. Id like to get a single by itself to test whether they will snap or yield, hopefully the latter.
The ball ends are cut on a lathe. There is a video on UA-cam showing the process. They are pretty hard. I had a technician out from Switzerland and saw his set that he had used for 12 years and they did not have a mark on them. That is when I started looking around for PB Tools.
The paint is coming off some of mine cause I hit them with hammers and use cheater pipes, I try to avoid abusing the PB's now and let the bondhus take the hammers and pipes. I run and set up a pair of two axis fanuc lathes so they get used and loved constantly. The paint wont last but I like it when my tools get battle scars to be honest.
+Max Maruszewski I am with you on that. Tools need to be used. My metric set is plain polished and it is still perfect. The powder coating will not last forever.
