Yes- you can! But for me that sends me back to Creative Space and I don’t like clicking through all over haha. Does that happen for you? By not opening the door, I can just keep clicking the button on the laser if that makes sense!
I have noticed on mine if I lift the lid and close it then lift again it unlocks the chuck. I do not have to unplug the wire to do this. It locks back up when you frame. I do want to try the black paint you are using.
No I have been able to line things up and pick up where I left off. I found this while adjusting a coffee mug in the chuck. I just reframe and it is still set.
Hi Karley, as I said I would test this out again. So after framing if I do not like how it is looking I open the lid and you do have to close and open right back up. This releases the chuck and allows it to be adjusted. Close the lid and reframe again and you are all set. This does not work after you start the burn. Prior to finding this I would shut the machine off and turn it back on. This for sure will take you back to the beginning. So give it try I am sure you will like the option. Problem is you will not find this kind of info in the manual I found this by accident and you will not find this information in the manual for sure. So I am a wood turner and these laser companies have been asking us to make a short video in return for the laser machines. I have tested a number of open style lasers as well as the LaserPecker 2 I also rely on videos such as yours to learn the ins and outs. I will be watching your channel more. You give information in a very easy to understand way. It is what I try to do with my woodturning. Sure hope it works for you and I see no reason why it shouldn't. Gary

Hi Karley, thank you again for a great video! I recently etched 2 stemless wine glasses and the design came out great. What I did notice however is that the paint did not come off all the way. It almost looks etched into the design in a couple of spots. I did use the same StarCraft chalk paint in black. Do you have any suggestions on what may be causing that ? Thank you

lift the door and the RA2 can be moved no need to plug and unplug , great idea on using the ring holders

How does it work with regular wine, champagne glasses?
You can use the rollers and the level attachment to hold the stem :)

just add a hands graphic after the word in the first try!🙌
What about using Tempera paint?
