I always liked to think of the horrific backstories to the minions that gave them their uniqueness, like how goldtooth might have got his gold hair and teeth in a smelting accident, it breakjaw getting his jaw broken, probably by Charge, or how the cyborgs got mutilated. And then how Claw-Dettes uniform looks like an agent, made me imagine her as a former agent that was captured and turned.
Some of their appearances do kinda imply gruesome backstories 😅 I always did think it was really cool tho how things like that were left to our imaginations, a quality I think modern day lego lacks
My man, you're on another level. This entire video in one take is INSANE! There's so much composure to your presentation, and all the information is delivered professionally but your enthusiasm still shines through! You're my first instant sub in years. Can't wait to explore all your stuff.
This theme was my childhood! This was the 1st Lego theme I ever grew up with & still have quite a few of the sets intact 15 years later, notably missions 2, 3, & 6 as well as the Toxic Helicopter for Dr. D Zaster. I never had Dr. Inferno’s Mech or the volcano base, so it was really nice to see those! Definitely gonna try to pick up more of these sets in the future! I thoroughly enjoyed this video & am really looking forward to seeing the Ultra Agents video!
that jet & truck set was some of my first system lego after a few years as a bionicle kid, brings back some good memories. it seemed so complicated at the time but looking at it now, i feel like i could build the jet without instructions
I was also a Bionicle kid with a couple SpongeBob sets but I remember watching the agents commercials and thinking they were so cool I just had to have them. The jet mission and the speedboat were the sets I had and that kickstarted my “not just bionicles years” lol
If I were to see a Secret Agent theme return... I think I'd make some kind of compromise between Agents and Ultra Agents. Each year would have it's own villain faction. And I'd structure it in this way: The first half of the year is mostly Medium and Small sets. The Heroes would be mostly Medium and the Villains would be mostly Small, with one Large set to represent the Heroes' base. The second half would be the reverse. Mostly Small Hero sets, mostly Medium Villain sets, and one Large set that's the Villain's base. So you have a "beginning" and "end" to the conflict. Maybe sprinkle a hint to the next year's villain in a last-minute store exclusive over the holiday season.
Lego agents what made me love Legos. Although I played woth them in the past. Agents was the shit! Wish I still had them. But now I build the model cars. Which I love
Ooh man I love this theme so much! It was one of, if not the first theme I latched onto when I first got into Lego as a young kid back in ‘08, so it holds a lot of sentimental value for me. Definitely the best spy theme in my opinion! I do prefer the faction vs faction thing this theme had going on instead of the agent faction vs various villains thing that Ultra Agents did. Love both themes but Agents will always have a special place in my heart. Great look back review!
I just wish the agents vehicles and uniforms didn't have the A logo on them. There is NOTHING secret about that. Plus the blue and neon green outfits were extremely obnoxious looking. They should have been all black jumpsuits and tuxedos and stuff. And the ID card on the leg is just hilarious. They were too obviously spies. Spies are supposed to be secret.
DuckBricks' Lookback series is so great, I love seeing all these themes from back then, with all the sets put together! The Agent's mobile command center is by far the best "mobile command center" ever released. Did you know? It's 12 studs wide, and scales perfectly with the 2020+ 8 stud wide speed champions cars! It can also sit two minifigs side by side in the truck's driving cabin
Literally sold my copy of Aerial Assault (The Twin rotor helicopter) yesterday. Was tough but didn't have the room and the infamous late 2000s stickers were peeling and crackling really bad. Seen the snow mobile vs rotor pack in several Bricklink stores though so I might get that as a more compact tribute to such a range. Plus, Mission One was the first level of the Flash Game on the Lego site and I was stuck on that a lot...EDIT: Also, congrats on 100k!

I Hope this Series continues because it is Balanced and the minifigs are super good!

I love the agents truck
It’s such a great set

I literally just happened to find one of my old LEGO Agents Minifigures just the other night and this was uploaded. Perfect timing

Same here! So many fond memories of playing with that set

For some reason, I'm a big fan of swamp boats, and LEGO has certainly made quite a few (World Racers, Agents, Swamp Police, etc.).
Super glad duck is covering this GOATED theme from our childhoods
I remember when these sets came out, they were so cool and were so much fun to play with
Always wish I was able to have Legos to build like a big door something like that in my room
Ah, a lookback at a LEGO theme from the point where I was getting into the system via Indiana Jones.
0:53 would love to see all your space minifigs there to the right of this shot.

Can you go through the Dino Attack sets? There aren’t a lot of them but could be a cool quick video

childhood memories is this valueable?
I just love learning about these older lego themes I really hope you continue this series!😃
Would be awsome to get a mixels lego lookback. Such a fantastic theme!
Will keep that in mind and try to do it when I maybe am able to build all the MAX builds as well!
I love agents
For your next episode Lego look back can you look at Lego Atlantis

Congrats on 100k, hats off to you for being so skilled in your craft

This is so cool! Next I think you should review all of the alternate models for this theme :)
For me, I think the villains are more about the mini figures I mean there are a lot of unique looking ones which is why the vehicles are OK

Congratulations on 100k!
Appreciate it!!
I find it really interesting that Ninjago used some minifigures from this line as elemental masters.
That's Ultra Agents
I know@@thedailyembarassment
This was when Lego was at it's height of power
Bro what do you do to make the Lego sets stay up in the air?
What was your first Lego set you got ?
Woah i haven’t seen those sets in a very long time! ❤
CONGRATS ON THE 100k!!!!!!!!!
