Sheriff Grady is the type of individual who should be Time’s Person of the Year. Polk County must be very proud to have such a gentleman for their sheriff.

This guy is not using legal process at all he's turning Society against these people without them even being found guilty of a crime if enough people believe they are guilty they are guilty so this guy's making sure of it before they go to court this is the opposite of how it's supposed to work and if they appeal their death sentence to Federal Court federal court will let them go because of all the laws that this cop is breaking normally a police officer will tell you they are not allowed to talk about the case but this guy explained it all in great detail and it's still open and being investigated

I call BULLSH%T.. Wow this sheriff is absolutely selling a story.. He's giving out all the evidence to the media to hang these people before ever stepping in to a court room. He knows word for word what happens but all 3 of the accused lawyered up. I don't wanna get in to how suspicious the single 9mm shell found at the compound. I pray that whoever did this is found and the family get justice but this seems fishy to me. May all 3 victims rest peacefully.

It's absolutley the OPPOSITE of what a press conference by a law officer should look like. Jesus fucking Christ. Are you SERIOUS? This guy is ruining their case for them. It's called "poisoning the well" and it loses cases when judges hear this kind of shit. You can't call people "evil" and "thugs" and act like you've proven the case before it's even gone to trial. THere is a REASON law officers usually say "allegedly" and "we believe" when reporting these cases. These people are innocent until proven guilty, and if their lawyer can make the case that the jury was poisoned before they got their day in court. Also, you don't actually KNOW they did it. You know that HE is convinced they did it. Probably did, but YOU DON'T KNOW THAT. That's what TRIALS are for.

I hope the family members find out where the criminal system failed to keep Tony Wiggins in jail and sue them for the death of their sons. Tony Wiggins should have been in prison or dead.

This Sherriff is amazing. He have a very thorough briefing, and properly informed the public of the process and results of their investigation. But his deep and personal love for his community is what really stands out. His compassion and grief for the victims' families and his activism in calling out the justice system for why this man was ever out of jail is amazing. This is a ridiculously injust story and I also grieve for the families.

The best thing they can do if they REALLY want police reform is to take the top 10 or more police departments in the country and train according to what works, what's successful as far as proper arrests and investigations and the public opinion about their local police department.
I recognize counties and cities are different but you can't tell me there aren't GOOD and we'll trained inner city police.
Successful models need to be recognized and mirrored!

“Eddie Johnson's rap sheet numbered about 100 arrests and five stints in and out of the Florida prison system when in 2006, he was arrested for burgIary and sexuaI battery and moIestation of an 8-year-old girI, while awaiting trial on charges of ra ping another woman...
