Clumber Park parkrun,

Saturday the 1st June, running the Clumber Park parkrun.
229th parkrun and 155th at Clumber Park.
Bit of a hot and humid morning.
Think I probably got a little carried away at the start with during a 6:09 opening mile, which along with scooping up an dropped key on the 2nd lap, probably caused me to burn out the legs a little and drop back to just over the 20 minute mark. would have liked to have been in the 19's but wasn't to be this time

15th placed finisher out of 298 and 2nd in the 40-44 age group

Very good run all the same Matt, even allowing for the fast 1st km and the key pickup. Your fast finishing endurance and distance seem to have grown a lot... that's a serious hill you powered up on the last turn and sustained it all the way and up'd it more again to the finish line... Impressive!

Indeed, much nicer when you don't have to tip toe round muddy puddles through the trees !

Nice effort to take back that blue scalp at the end. You would have had him if not for the very narrow funnel. I dislike parkruns that narrow them that much, as they should be two abreast at minimum.
