this character is definitely a filter. people are so used to busted characters where they don't even have to think and try that they think new bakugo is bad lol.
New bakugo is definitely better. He has spread shots which are easy hits, even if it’s pebble damage. His beta is an escape AND ATTACK and his gamma is a quick surprise attack. The amount of wins I’ve been racking is nice too.

He might be played similarly to Kirishima. For him you want to get your shockwave attack to level 9 first and you use your movement to get on top of them to land it for the big damage.

It’s crazy how i just knew you’d upload while i was in my first class of the day lol, Can’t wait to watch this
They’ll buff him. Here’s some ways I think they can fix him.
First his alpha, I don’t have him unlocked however watching him it seems that it can be annoying to move back sometimes while shooting. I think if they can make a way for you to not move back while shooting, that would be great. Perhaps they can give him like an actual machine gun mechanic to where you can hold his alpha down and it’s kinda like Endeavors, just continuously spraying. That could move him either backwards or keep him still. Or they could go about it by making him aim keeps him still. Lastly, damage buff. I get it, he’s movement so he shouldn’t have a lot of damage, but he has less than twice, Iida, and debatably froppy and Uraraka from what I’ve seen. That’s ridiculous.
Next his beta. Firstly they need to make it to where his Beta hits the ground from ANYWHERE in the sky. Or atleast higher up than what it can do. It should also be more capable of multiple hits, atleast two. Bc the damage it does seems to be low. They can make his beta damage around froppys or Iidas or something
His Gamma seems the easiest to fix. All they gotta do is increase the surface area and make it an armored move. Now wishful thinking here, but I think it would be really cool if you could explode yourself in any direction. Like if you’re holding forward after using your gamma, you’ll explode forward, if you’re holding it down then you’ll move backwards. Bc it would be armored and you have the ability to move in any direction, it can be used more as a “get off me tool.” It sounds like over powered movement but when you take into consideration that the Deku in this video caught up to Bakugou extremely easily after bakugou used dang near all his moves, it’s not really a lot. Then think about how other rapids like Iida and Uraraka can just fly across the entire map. The gamma explosion move should be able to burst you in any direction you choose and that one move should get your much further than dekus black whip. However it shouldn’t be something you can use over and over so I think increases the cooldown time would make it more balanced.

@@TokyoSaga full bullet deku has no armor in his gamma which is his only movility. Why should rapid bakugo of all characters get armor since he can just fly away with the rest of his kit
Honestly the BIGGEST disappointment was the Gamma, its worse than Strike Deku smh
Its supposed to be that move that launches you in the air so you can combo with your Alpha/Beta, but its barely higher than a normal jump..

I think the reason his damage output isn’t all that there is specifically because of how easy it is to just disengage and get away with him, especially since he specializes in mid-ranged damage for the most part.
multiple opportunities you had for your beta at that first end game many players down below that you could’ve knocked or annoy with it but still great game that was

It looks as if aiming reduces how much you get pushed back by aerial alphas. I can't tell for sure because the zoom-in of aiming makes movement look slower, but if it's true then aiming in with Machine Gun Kel- I mean Bakugo will be a must during a fight, while un-aimed alphas will be necessary to train opponents

I think of this version of him as a fighter jet, used for strafing runs and dmg without the risk of getting hit definitely a unique play style.

All of you are confused on how to play this character it’s like every rapid in the game use your moves to get close use your high damage move which is gamma use beta to get in close use alpha for chip

You can hold your beta/second skill for it to last longer
I feel like the highest skill ceiling is gonna go to all for one atm since you can do so much with the double quirk set stuff if you know what you are doing and pay attention to what skill set you have and switch at the right moments, I wouldve said toga but currently I'd say she is second or third, it's mixed between her and cementoss
The thing with the Beta is you HAVE to look down and aim otherwise you risk whiffing and this also helps lead into the Alpha. I'm thinking something along the lines of Beta, Alpha, Beta, Gamma/Alpha. And throw in a Special Action to stay Airborne, very squirrelly, High-Skill for sure.
The glitch only goes out when you plus ultra or level it up/ team drinks a level up drink

When it comes to Iida using the exploit, whenever their gamma ability gets upgraded, they have to redo the exploit so yes that Iida player was using it the whole time.

Propelling yourself backwards with alpha then kicking forward helps you to move faster
haven’t pulled anything good since i started the game, meanwhile literally everyone i fight has all for one, assault shigaraki, rapid bakugo, everything. it takes far too long to get one summon and i just get nothing

well, Rapid Bakugou, it was as I expected, it would be very complicated at the beginning of the game guys, this factor of you being in the air and your basic atk pushing you away, can get in the way in some situations. and the beta skill can be tricky to get right too, but over the course of a few games you might be able to get the hang of the character. ^^
I think a character who would struggle to beat Rapid Bakugo would be Kirishima. Kiri, I wouldn't be able to gain distance to hit Bakugo because Kiting is very easy to do.

@@789ine In the 1v1 vs Dabi, Bakugo is still going to have a pretty easy time dealing with getting over the flame pillar, exposing the traps, and avoiding the fireball because of all of his new aerial movement and ability to still fight while midair. Open spaces are already bad for dabi if he hasn’t already pre planned in advance to where the ring moves and even then, Bakugo can avoid it all if he so chooses to and fly above.

@@789ine Light work for who? And for Ochako is gonna have a way better time compared to Dabi but its kinda gonna be a stalling game between the Bakugo and herself just because of her decent movement. Unfortunately, her float traps aren’t even gonna touch him so you have to have somewhat decent aim with your Alpha and/or hit him with the car which is gonna be kind of difficult to do since he dosent have to get that close

For me I level his Beta first at the start of game just to 4 then Alpha second to maximum because beta is give me more travel distance to third party and the reason I have said alpha second because I can hit shots. If you can’t hit your shots with the new bakugo then Alpha first but that’s my opinion.

Hate how with this update they still haven’t fix the iida glitch like it so dumb how he can just keep using his y for as long as he wants and have the buff that comes along with it

Imma be honest you weren't even that bad and were doing great, its just this bakugo just hits like a wet noodle. At lv 9 his alpha "if all hits connect" it does 110ish, beta does 70ish and only hits once, and his gamma does 140ish. Add onto the fact his range is kinda bad and this bakugo doesn't feel worth spending tickets, especially after we got godly yellow shigi. This bakugo also has "bad" movement because how rudimentary it is, which is why that deku for example was able to catch up to you. Because his skills only let him go directly up or horizontal with no "explosiveness" like other characters movement.

I feel like you need to treat him as a medium range character. He can't hit from afar, you need to be hitting and running, going in and out of the fight.

Because most ppl jump and shoot its very awkward to use him. He's very disengage heavy abilities are miss looked. his dmg is more of a constant rather then a burst on his alpha. He looks like more of a distraction in fights.

As someone who actively likes playing Twice, he needs to get his gamma nerfed lol. First it was impossible to land now it's impossible to miss. I think at the absolute least that it should not be stunning people mid move, like the fact it takes priority over a lot of the abilities in the game is ridiculous and makes it way harder to escape.

It does look a little frustrating but at least he seems to require some skill to actually manage his cooldowns and get KOs as him. If anything it'll be more annoying trying to chase him than fight him.

I think the reason you were struggling is that you were trying to play a rapid skillset of a character you already know as the character you already know and not an enemy AC-130.
I think the proper strat is to stay above the enemy 80% of the time and lead into engagements with the beta instead of the alpha when you can
Playing with Bakugo so much makes me still upset how he keeps getting nerfed, at least give him hyper armor on his gammas
I would rather save tickets for Mirio or Overhaul or whoever is next.
