462 is best all around pro chainsaw..for daily arborist work..most underrated..sure 500i is more torque but its made for long bar and big rounds..462 does same body of work with half the gas or more and sounds like real saw..
Ya, the 462 is a real nice saw. I actually got a 24-inch on my 500i. Running 404. I know it's weird, but I really like it. The larger sprocket gives a bit more chain speed.
@@PoplarMechanic yea I run 24 and 32 on both 462/500i...gotta get a 28 more ideal for me..daily.but 24 does most things..light of course..the 500i needs large logs .can't handke the sound..it makes ..it's more torque but 462 is always first pick...for me..get those filters man I'm telling I take care of my saws and guys are crazy to spend 1600 on a saw or more acuttualy and run those filters..when I take my oil ones off can eat dinner off the inside..it's unreal.plus incunjuntion with bark box or egan even better they running way cooler

I run quarter pitch 0.43 polesaw chain bar stihl...on all 3 of my echo 2511t, s. It gets better notches, smooth and couldn't run 3/8 on them no way..makes no sense..would try that nano because it comes in 16 ...never used panther before ..stihl bar chain much more durable
@nicholaslacroix7722 No worries, brotha! Thanks for watching. I got more cutting action with tomorrow's video if you want to see it cutting some cottonwood. I really like the chain.
@PoplarMechanic what exactly was done to it? All I did to mine was replace muffler with eagan performance pipe, added dog spikes and removed cap limiters to adjust carburetor.
Will stay with the 1/4 pitch on mine just works for what im doin. Thanks very helpfull vids.
@julianalderson3938 i like the 1/4 better, for what I'm doing now as well. Pruning mixed with some removal the 1/4 is hard to beat

Got a 400. Most think its rubbish. Its no 462 but works well for me always sharp. But like yaself rekon 462 is great saw.
You can also buy a 7 pin oil pump sprocket for the 2511 when you switch to .325.
Well that helped seal the deal between the Speed cut and a Panther setup….
👍 thanks for watching 🤙
@@PuskwaskaOutdoors those panther bars are made of chocolate. No disrespect to the guy but he needs to change them.
@@EdtheGardener
Yeah I seen a lot of people complaint about the panther bars…. I went with the Oregon SCN kit, it’s pretty wicked 👍
The bark box on a 462 is pretty bitchin! Bark box is my favorite mod cause it’s so damn easy! And then it wakes up the neighbors too😂
He'll ya. I love the Bark boxes
My go to saw 462 bark box .oil air filter..3 point doggs ..completely different saw..the filter is best part..opens it
@@Sethhaun78 I have to try the foam on the 462. I got one for the 661 and really like it

That would be rad! I have the conversion in my cart on Amazon.
Hi I'm struggling to see the link to get the correct kit ordered for the 2511

What size bar are you running on the 194t? 14 or 16inch? Thanks
14
14 brotha
3 seconds faster🎉
😆
Gotta have that 3 seconds right?
Is your 2511 modified?
Yes! She goes like a raped ape.
Did you modify it or have it done by someone?
@@bamabowhunter8499 someone did this one for me
