Thanks 🙏 for the comments! It was really lucky 🍀 to spot that bit of jaw bone . It was just sad that it had one eroded tooth in it. I’ll probably keep it to show people what to look for on my guided fossil walks 🙌
Thank you so much for this video! Too often I see amateurs on the beach smashing rocks indiscriminately and finding nothing. Your advice is spot on and thanks for saying that you'd been out all day and only found a few things. It's not always going to be a complete ichthyosaur skeleton you find 😂 Keep up the good work and good luck out there 😁
That’s a very good lot of points that you make ! Thanks 🙏 for all your comments . I have to say some days when I’m drenched I do feel like giving up, but the more time you put in as you know the more you can find at low tide - hopefully 🤞
Some great finds :-) My last trip to Lyme Regis was unfortunately a bust! Normally I at least find a few small ammonites seiving, but that time, not even one. It was after one of the big winter storms, but it was from the North, so didn't affect the beach as much as I'd hoped.
Sorry to hear that it sounds like storm Darragh that was more of a northerly wind that it brought ! Usually I get the small pyrite ammonites sieving at low tide, picking on the iron pyrite patches . Thanks for the comments
Good luck! David with the sieving. Thanks a lot for the comments it was really lucky 🍀 those finds, probably thrown up after all the recent stormy 🌊 weather
See my longer fossil hunting video on UA-cam! It’s called “ Jurassic Coast Colossal Crinoid (Part 2) Thanks 🙏 for watching

So nice of you to say ! - thanks 🙏 for that ! I have got my thermos flask ready to use now, in these colder days 🙌

Realy noce Video, Brandon! The big part of an Ammonite, do you think it was Schlotheimia? I remember the one in Martins collection...
Thanks 🙏 karsten I think 💭 Schlotheimia , like the one I found in Martin’s collection! Great suture patterns with those ammonites 🙌
Wow, love the jawbone! How much do you think it is worth and is it for sale?
