Great episode Nick and Ange. I love the new style intros, very reminiscent of Carissa (FOG) it's always wonderful seeing how you somehow find time for so many others despite the work needed on your own land and property.

I’ve been watching you all from the beginning! I really have enjoyed all of your videos. I hope that every once in a while you all have a chance to take a break. It’s amazing to see when you first bought the house to where you are now…..maybe you don’t know this because you probably take it for granted. But the place is looking outstanding! I really look forward to your weekly videos! Thanks for sharing your lives with us!

Thanks for sharing another video with us. U two r very hardworking. I hope ur head cut has healed and has not been too painful. You r definitely a good neighbour and friend. You allocate ur time and your talents with neighbours and friends. Very generous to allocate some of ur time and skills to those in need of help. Do u plan to restock ur beehives? The images of the flowers at the start were beautiful. Ur piggies seem to be quite happy also. How many olive trees do u still have to prune?

Work and dedication are on display every week , it takes a great deal of work to feed and take care of animals and maintain a garden . They always make time to help neighbors and share recipes and ideas . The farming is 365 days of the year , gardening is at least 10 months of the year , always have a building project going on to film. Do you ever go fishing ? Take care and many blessings 💕

Im glad you are giving your olive trees hard prune they do need it, you would gradually get less olives if you didn't.
If you could remember to look at your neighbour's tree at the end of this year you will see it will have a lot if new growth and the bext year he will have a bumper yield. It seems harsh but it spurs the tree on to make new growth. Also early spring if you take the tractor round each tree to till the soil it helps the rain dink into the ground and not run off, this will give the olive the growth spurt.
Loving your videos you definitely deserve more subs 👍👍👍👍

They grow olives north of us in California & they don't seem to prune their trees as severely as they do in Portugal. As a gardener, I also find that if I prune a tree too severely, they send up a lot of vertical shoots, which don't produce much fruit. You might try pruning a few trees using 2 different levels of pruning (severe vs moderate) & see which gives you more olives the next few years.
