- This is Part One: The Reverential Night.
The night before Emancipation Day is known as Reverential Night and it is the night to pay homage the ancestors and light candles in their honour. In past years, a walk through the streets of Cape Coast, while wearing white, and singing songs of freedom occurs.
🇬🇭 Most of the diaspora don't know what they just witnessed about the pouring of the libation. Their lives will change in everything they do and success will continue to locate and follow them in all their endeavors.🇬🇭
Our ancestors suffered for us to be free . They are really our heroes . We cherish them and honor them .We cannot thank them enough. ❤
That is very true❤️💯🥹

Good job, its the chief priest pours the libation.
Thank you very much and i did not catch the last part of your comment.
@@AirdemShelter Sorry, you mentioned that the king was praying, I think at the beginning, but it was the chief priest who was praying at the time. But towards the end the chief also prayed. So It's cool.
@@ivybannerman-wood453 thank you very much for the correction.

Thank you brother 🫡
Slavery shouldn’t have happened in the first. Why should one own a human being as a commodity and do whatever he/she want to him/her. This is madness
I agree with you man. I believe it's in our nature to want to rule and some people take it to the extreme.
Unfortunately, there is nothing in place by the Ghanian government to help Africans through out the diaspora to relocate. Most returnees are staying are on a tourist visa.
I am living in US but do you know the importance of freedom?
@@LeslieAmartey20 I’m not sure how your questions relates to my comment?
@Nothingbutfacts1676
Africans throughout the diaspora?
Is Ghana the only country in Africa?
Some of u just come on here with little knowledge on issues.
@@mightyman6866 Ghana was the only African country that had the year of return. Calling Africans throughout the diaspora to return home. However, this was used as way to boost tourism.
Like what?
