Spike is better than needing Willow, Giles and especially Xander’s company. Just as long as he has his Summers girls. Also, what I’d give to see what kind of adventures Spike and Dawn had during the time Buffy was gone.
Spike was like that crazy older cousin every girl has who’s just a tad too rough and mean but would kill anybody who laid a finger on her, and who nobody understands why she trusts so implicitly
I loved Dawn and Spike's friendship! I was disappointed that their bond pretty much disappeared once Buffy came back form the dead. After that, they hardly had any scenes together at all!
True, that explains season 7. But they barely spoke for the rest of season 6, either. Because Spike was too obsessed with Buffy. It made me sad to see his and Dawn's friendship fade during that season.
He loves Buffy as a woman and he loves Joyce as his first human friend, even when he was bad he feels when she die. Of course he will love a lot Dawn as his little sister.
Sadly, Dawn was into Spike (Which ended up being heartbreaking for her), but she is also 100% safe around him (Chip or not) Joyce was his first human friend, true, but that is mainly due to the fact that she spoke to him like a person. This was prior to him liking Buffy.
Dawn and Spike's friendship is one of the greatest highlights in this show. Dawn's trust, respect and loyalty was crucial for Spike becoming a better person. Spike's character arch is what made me realize that redemption is in fact possible.
The Summers women just have a way with Spike, I guess. 😹 The dude was besties with Joyce, an older brother figure to Dawn, and fell in love with Buffy. Love that.
One thing everyone needs to remember, Spike would NEVER hurt Dawn (At least not on purpose, he did crush her since she was into him and he was into Buffy. but that is not really his fault. He emotionally hurt her but it was not intentional) Physically, he would never harm her, even without a chip Dawn would be 100% safe around him.
I disagree. I don’t think it’s weird. I think it’s sorta like he’s an other brother or something. I’ve always thought of them as having a familial relationship
Spike looked after dawn when buffy died and yet he still got treated like shit...give me boi some validation and a hug
Yes ma’am!
I agree
And a cookie! 🍪

He does in the end.

I guess Dawn never really forgave him for trying to r*pe Buffy...

I loved Spike taking care of Dawn in Wrecked, while Buffy dealt with Willow. It was his first instinct and priority
Because Marti Noxon felt they were too close and didn't want anything Darling Clementine going on (fictionally and in real life).
@@MrLorenzovanmatterho That says more about Marti than anything else.
He adored her.
He’s like her dad
He really did
I feel like Spike was the only one who didn’t baby Dawn and was straight with her 100% of the time
Spike's relationship with Dawn was the most equal one he had in both series.
"I have BAD, EVIL things to do, that are not for a child's eyes!"
He says, concerned for her innocence. Yeah, you're sooo bad, Spike. 😂😂
he was like a big brother to her
Spike being the cool, tough older brother to Dawn was something I really wish we had more of :(
What an incredible performance by James masters, considering he was only originally an disposable character

Buffy and Spike were so married that they practically shared custody of Dawn 😂
When he calls her pigeon tho :,)
I love his nicknames for her like Little Bit, Niblet and my favorite one, Platelet 😂
I love that he have such a soft spot for her
Little Bit and Dawnie are the cutest nicknames
Plus Nibblet, Sweet Bit
Nibblet is so cute

Spike loved Buffy romantically, he loved Joyce like a mother figure, and he loved Dawn like a little sister ❤❤
I loved when she went on a date with a guy that ended up being a vampire, and he was like “I guess I’ll knock some heads around”
I always seen Spike as a father figure for Dawn
@ Antoinette Lovejoy
More like an uncle figure
I love this. I feel like he's a mix of the dad, uncle and brother.
@@miaamer7718No He’s a father figure

"I'm not lurking, I'm standing about. Totally different vibe."
Spike was usually lonely.
Always got a kick out of him calling her "Pigeon" and "Little Bit."
spike was the original lucifer
I am a simple man. I see fantastic recently made Buffy content, I Like It.
I loved Spike and Dawn scenes 😭 I hate that s6 scene we all hate with Spike and Buffy totally ruined their bond for season 7 😢
I haven't watched it in a while-- what scene was that?
@@fistdantilus9916 Probably the Seeing Red scene...
I love how Dawn brings out the childish side of Spike and at the same time, being a big brother figure to her.
Then Spike and Joyce
Awesome 👍 spike, got to love him.bring them back!!

Would have been better if the music had been more background. I kinda like to hear their voices.
music too loud for the audio
I love dawn and spike my mum says i look like dawn so every time i see them together its me with spike 😂😂😂
Almost Headpats.
Love it!
