All of these videos assume that the user doesn't have an AC power supply inside the wall. If you build a wall unit, doesn't it make sense to support the case where the power is supplied behind the unit? Jumping through all these hoops just to hook it up to. a power outlet in the attic seems hacky.
Please thanks you the lessons, Please there are two plugs on the amplifier, one is two pins and one is three pins, which one is for power? Please can you the the herdio amplifier together with an external amplifier? Thank you
Hello, thank you very much for watching and for your question, this TWO PINS is the power cable and THREE PINS is the audio cable, you can find more hairy details in the video link I gave you below. (ua-cam.com/video/ScU97PMSjh8/v-deo.html) Also this amp is not to be used with other models
Interesting product, I think that the company should sell the connector with the transformer separately as a single piece for direct connection to the 110 volt including its price to make the product more interesting, since not all people have the knowledge and the ability to cut and connect cables.
I understand your frustration, and I apologize for any inconvenience. It seems there might be some confusion. The video provided was a basic guide on hardwiring, and for a detailed installation process, there is another video available. (Installation instructions are included at the end of all unboxing videos for models with 16bt controllers.) I appreciate your feedback, and if you have any specific questions or concerns, feel free to let me know, and I'll do my best to assist you. Thank you for your patience.
As a residential contractor, I have to say, this is pretty idiotic. It would be easier, and safer (but still not a good idea and against code) to just wire an outlet in a single gang box, plug in the transformer/amp, and hide it in the wall. It's disppointing that no manufacturer, Herdio included, makes an actual hard-wired option, which would be very easy to do. Just offer the transformer with 12 or 14 gauge wire on the line side that can be connected to a standard switch or in a junction box instead of the plug connection.

Can you hook up the herdio system to a car battery?Or a boat battery

Thank you for your valuable opinions, we will definitely convey them to the technical department!
I was going to buy Herdio as I assumed there was always a hardwire option. I would not wsnt to hide this in the wall. Its too bad.
Do it right or don’t do it at all!!
Thank you for your comments, we are on our way to do better.
That's too sketchy for me. There has to be a more professional way to do this.
Thank you for your suggestion, we will try to improve it!
Are you fucking kidding me? This is your installation instructions?
