Every time i see someone clear a gun on you tube it is always empty chamber. Sometimes rounds may be in the mag and sometimes not but the chamber is always clear. You are the first person that i have seen clear a gun and a round is ejected from the chamber and I appreciate that. I once told a you tuber to do the same thing. Purposely have a round in the chamber and clear it. I believe the value of showing a round ejecting is more valueable as a safety lesson than an empty chamber. You put a smile on my face. good job.
I have shot just about every sub compact out there. The Nano is built like a tank. Man is it one very mild shooter. Muzzle flip is almost non existent. I love this gun. Thousands of round of all kinds of Ammo shot through it and no one failure other than some cheapo reloads I bought. Shoots plus P milder than many shoot standard ammo. This gun is made to last a very long time. The trigger is perfect for CCW. Easy to change out to night sights or fiber optic sights. Thanks for the review.
The Nano is one impressive gun for sure. It has replaced my LC9S which I have shot thousands of rounds down range. The Nano is one mild shooter for sure. No where near the recoil or muzzle flip. My eats any ammo. The trigger finger you use will vary with each individual and hand size. I can actually get a better placement on the pad of my finger easier than the Ruger. What ever works for you. By the way, I am shooting the Nano much more accurately than the Ruger. Especially in fast action shooting. The Nano is built like a tank. Really a fantastic build quality. I love the modular design. I cannot say enough about the Nano. Thanks for posting.
Both nice guns. But have to say I really like the Nano much better. Also shot the Nano against the Glock 43x. Nano is much more mild shooting IMO. I now have almost 15,000 rounds of mixed ammo through it and really like this gun so much bought the Beretta Carry as well. Actually prefer the Nano over the Beretta Carry. Maybe use to it, I don't know. I have really become a fan of not haveing a slide lock. And I actually prefer the DAO trigger of the Nano. Like a DAO, it is long, but deliberate and smooth. Controlled all the way through. One thing you might do is compare the receiver of both guns. You will see the Nano really is built like a Tank. Few parts like the Glock, but the Nano is almost over built. The recoil is handled so well by the Nano. Thanks for a great video, keep the good work up.
My Nano was the first daily carry firearm that I've actually daily carried. I was reluctant to purchase a sub-compact, fearing the compromises necessary to make a firearm so small. Round capacity, recoil, and a very short sight radius were the primary objections UA-cam etc. had warned me of. My initial intention was to only carry it when my wardrobe made a larger handgun unfeasible. After a few months it occurred to me that every objection I've heard is nonsense if your firearm is home in the safe because you chose not to carry. It's proven to be malfunction free, easily digesting every round I've fed it. The recoil is not an issue, and the accuracy even at 50yards is not only acceptable, but exceptional. It's now the only firearm I carry every day, and it even serves as the backup to my backup 44mag revolver when hunting. It's my American Express of handguns, "Don't leave home without it."
Excellent review. I have shot both. The Glock didn't impress me. I just couldn't get comfortable with the 43. I still prefer the Nano after almost 5 years. I'm probably the only one that had the easiest transition from carrying a 92 to the Nano.

Plus, there is a $75 rebate going on thru December. I will certainly re-rent the Nano and use the finger joint instead of the finger pad. Thx.

I’ve put about 50 rounds through each of these gun and I like the Nano better. Softer shooter, more accurate, for me, better sights, and all around smaller and concealable. The owned the shield for over a year and also as hard as I tried it never grew on me. I replaced it with a PPS M2 and have never looked back. Nice review!
How do you prefer carrying the PPS M2? I have never carried and I am looking at buying my first pistol. I am down to the PPS M2 and the Nano. Was also looking at the p32 before but yea. zergtoss1 well from what you’ve described on how you dress. I would not buy either one. I would buy a Sig Sauer P365 or the P365 SAS. Great gun, 9mm, 10 round mag, smaller and lighter than the other two. P365 can go in most pockets.

Very good video and honest assessment, thanks. It appers, to me, that the Glock is thinner if it wasn't due to the SLIDE STOP. The barrel is longer and the bore axis is MUCH LOWER. To me that axis plays alot in a small gun's accuracy. I own a G42 and very accurate out to 50 feet and carry it as much as my G26. However, I see the biggest difference between these two is the overall length making the Nanos more of a pocket option. The true one thing I've learned with these small guns is that experience and training makes the world of difference whether and individual can be proficient with these smaller and lighter platforms in the same calibers when stepping down in size for concealment. Groupings are not as important than hitting your intended target and quickly whether at 21 feet or more distant. Always recommend renting your selected platform and put it thru your paces.

This is a great video. I love my Nano and it goes great in the cargo pocket I carry it in, but I hate the trigger. It's long, heavy, and (as you said) I find myself not getting reliably accurate shots if I don't use the first joint in my finger. I've been carrying it for about 8 months now and I'm considering switching to the G43 now since it's similar in size. I just don't feel comfortable with the Nano's trigger.
I love my single stack 9s. My favorite is still my glock 47 with my shield 2.0 in a real close second. I have a g19 but rarely feel like conceal carrying it. It's mostly a range gun/home defense. I do own a beretta 21a which I love.
enjoyed the vid as I was curious of both. Nice walkthrough. The Beretta Nano is blocky and not keen on that screw to take down the gun. But nice you have both of these.

Using the extended mag (included with the purchase of a Nano) gives you the option of having more concealability or more rounds in the pistol. You wouldn't have that with an extended grip.
A Glock is not a safe CCW gun. It is easier to mess up and have it go off easily. Having a trigger with a takeup allows you to think because the long travel reminds you under stress that you are on the trigger. The Glock if you are on the trigger you have shot the gun.
Hi! I know this video is older not sure if you will see this but I’ve been debating between the two. Which would you recommend for less of a kickback for a small woman?
A reason I don't like flat faced triggers is because they're uncomfortable. I have longer fingers, so using the pad of my finger just doesn't work well, especially if I have to pull the trigger pretty far back (an extreme example would be the SCCY CPX). The good thing with using the joint of your finger is that it makes the Glock dongle not hurt your finger (almost unnoticeable). As far as Glocks go though, I still prefer the aftermarket triggers (as long as they don't have wide flat faces). Not sure if I'll ever understand why people like such wide, flat faces triggers. They're the opposite of comfortable and accurate for me.
kauxkaux That's a tough one as I haven't had the Glock that long but just by the feel of them both I would say Beretta. It feels like a more solid gun and 3000 rounds later it's like brand new.
Gary Decker Thank you. My buddy has one and I have shot it several times, I remember it being a really good shooter with a nice trigger. I haven't come across any in my local shops or I probably would have gotten one.
Ive been alternating between the walther PpsM2 and the Beretta Nano as my edc pieces. I'm looking to replace my walther as my edc only because of the weight. Great gun but at 21oz she's kind of a heavy piglet. The Nano comes in 2 oz lighter without losing capacity (6rd flush, and 8rd extended) Which is what I don't like about the G43(6rd flush, 7rd with an aftermarket extension plate). But the weight is right on point! And would work well with my system.
I actually went to the gun store to buy the Walther PPS M2 but the owner was conceal carrying the nano. Showed me some of the things he liked about the nano better and I ended up bringing home the Beretta.
@@dwightreed2174 Man I wish I could find someone that has both cuz I am down to these two as well. Maybe I will go with the nano but I hear the M2 shoots soooo well and other walthers I have held felt SOO good in my hands.
I like the sight design on the Nano. I bought some night sights from Beretta and had them installed in about two minutes. Installing night sights on some of my other pistols was a pain in the ass.
Have you had any failure to eject issues on that Nano? Wife got one and we have had nothing but trouble with it. You got 3000 rounds through it so just wondered if we got a lemon or if it was something that got better with the pistol over time? See my vid: MY FIRST GUN VIDEO - BERETTA NANO
Dad On Ewe Tube I really haven't had any failures with my Nano. Only in the beginning when shooting off hand did I have a few failures but that was my fault and I corrected it. I may just have gotten lucky with mine as I've heard of others having this problem.
Try shooting hotter ammo a few mags mine was very stiff when I got it and shot few boxes of hornady CD through it now no failures to eject or anything reliable as any glock and I also have a 43 that the wife carries
It's hard to beat a Glock in my opinion, once you own one, it's easy to get another. Is Glock the best gun company? No, but they're easy to get use to.
I bought a steel firing pin, however after 2500 flawless rounds have yet to put it in. I doubt I will. They also say this about the Kahr as well. This gun is built like a tank. By the way the OEM is not plastic.
The Nano has a steel firing pin. The striker is a plastic rod. I replaced mine with an SS one from Galloway. Have never had a problem with the Nano and the SS striker actually improves the trigger feel. I use a cartridge to turn the retainer. Just dry fire to drop the striker (you always do a check first, right?).
Seems like the Glock has the barrel sitting lower towards center of mass while the Beretta has it sitting higher\farther from center of mass, which would let the recoil effect the accuracy on the latter
I'll have to say that I'm a little more than Disappointed that Beretta would allow a trigger THAT BAD to be in their products. I've owned Beretta pistols, granted not strike fired, but it was painful to see you pull the trigger on the Nano.
@@GunCollector007 I guess my view of the trigger might be a little Biased, as the only Beretta's I have experience with is the 92fs, and the 8000 Cougar. IMO, the 8000 was an overlooked, underappreciated VERY Good handgun. I loved it, and regret selling it now.
I have one Glock 26 and I shoot one Glock 43 and a Beretta Nano, I can say Glock is better in all ways. I don't know if is posible to change the Beretta magazine release botton, if you are left handed is posible to dropped the magazine accidentally. This happen to me two times. Cheers.

The Nano comes in 2 oz lighter without losing capacity (6rd flush, and 8rd extended) Which is what I don't like about the G43(6rd flush, 7rd with an aftermarket extension plate). But the weight is right on point! And would work well with my system.
hdvsmith Whatever works for you my friend, I like them all!
I actually went to the gun store to buy the Walther PPS M2 but the owner was conceal carrying the nano. Showed me some of the things he liked about the nano better and I ended up bringing home the Beretta.
This is key cuz like a lot of other people down here I am down to the PPS M2 and the Nano for my first carry.
@@dwightreed2174 Man I wish I could find someone that has both cuz I am down to these two as well. Maybe I will go with the nano but I hear the M2 shoots soooo well and other walthers I have held felt SOO good in my hands.

Yep, same boat I was in. But after shooting the nano I wish I would have gone with the Walther. JMHO.
I’m in love with this Beretta Nano 😍 How have this gun held up?
Still perfect!
GunCollector007 Awesome man! I need to get my hands on one!

Ya think it just needs to be broken in more huh? Havent taken it back out in a while. Havent traded it in yet either.
+Dad On Ewe Tube you might have gotten a lemon. How many rounds have you put through it?
Not many. would guess maybe somewhere around the 400 round mark.
It's hard to beat a Glock in my opinion, once you own one, it's easy to get another. Is Glock the best gun company? No, but they're easy to get use to.
revolver8shot You are so right, just simple guns that are so easy to shoot well. Thanks
The Nano has plastic firing pin which is totally unreliable and will fail to fire overtime. Many Nano owners are replacing it with steel firing pin.
Still have the gun and like it but not in my top ten.
How much beretta nano boss
shal's Shals 300 to 400
Very similar very similar very similar very similar and very similars
Indeed
I have one Glock 26 and I shoot one Glock 43 and a Beretta Nano, I can say Glock is better in all ways.
I don't know if is posible to change the Beretta magazine release botton, if you are left handed is posible to dropped the magazine accidentally.
This happen to me two times.
Cheers.
Do NOT blame the firearms for user error.
Glad I never bought a Nano. Wayyy too cumbersome to field strip.
I preferred a nano..
emmanuel canonigo Great gun.
