I rather have a coach who knows what the hell he is doing than a coach being love by players, because the players might not be the talented players that they need to get to the Super Bowl. I have seen that with Mike Zimmer. The kicker Walsh should have been cut and he kept him around. That’s not right. In the end all the Teams needs to win a championship or the team will lose money and business. It’s not about being love, but you can have that too in winning.

KOC on the other hand was expected to lead a 6.5 win team that everyone laughed at for having Sam Darnold as the starter when he was seen as a backup at best. KOC has exceeded expectations more than DC, regardless of the outcome of this weeks game KOC deserves it. Should of won it in his first year as a coach but this year he is the clear favorite.

I swear this is Bud Grant reincarnated coaching wise. He has transformed this team in 3 years. Hell he's tranformed the fanbase and has so many believing in him and the team. He is the right guy at the right time. He held the team together when they dealt with the untimely and unfair loss of a teammate. That alone is unbelievable! I for one am grateful he's the coach of the Vikings!
Can you imagine the difference in energy in the building when you have KOC in charge vs. Mike Zimmer. Nothing against Zimmer, he did bring some much needed discipline to the team at that time, but it's just refreshing to see a coach set high expectations and elevates his team in kind.
As a fan since day 1 we find ourselves with another coach every player in the NFL would live to play for. That is how you have changed the culture in that stadium. I see a family, not a team.
Love this coach! The locker room speeches after the game get the team fired up and as a fan makes me excited to see the team rally behind Sam and really give us fans a special year when most of us didn't expect to be in this position.

Look, KOC all time, love the guy. Top 3 coach in NFL hop he is here for 20+ years. My question tho is you stay aggressive offensively week in week out, aggressive mentality. However, I love bflo again, hopefully is here as long as humanly possible, there is a chance for absolute greatness with 2 guys who just know how to coach. However… why does it seem like the defense lets off the gas in 4th quarter situations? Isn’t the best mentality to continue to attack? I am such a supporter of you the Vikings and a 60year family season ticket owner. The is just a question, can we not maintain that attacking mentality up by 10-21 in 4th quarter situations, to me it looks like our flaws come out when we play on our heels protecting a lead.
Hoisting Darnold that way seemed to be the kind of release the team needed. Now that he's fully washed in the blood of this team, they really just need to embrace that by getting him signed. Just seems like the right thing.
Two things Wilfs need to make sure happens this offseason: 1. Sign Darnold. This is a leader. This is a man that has the trust of his team. And the coach/qb relationship is beyond anything I have seen from Vikings in my lifetime. 2. Pay Brian Flores. End stop. This is a coach we need for a few more years. He is a big reason we succeed. And he could use a couple years working with KoC on how to be a great head coach. Don’t make the same mistake we did with Tomlin.

Going into this season and even early on I was questioning whether KoCwas part of the problem or not I mean it’s been one score games for 3 years straight a lot of them fell our way but a lot of them were leads we ourselves gave up in the second half and what can you attribute that to other than play calling discipline inconsistency or lack of preparation those are all things that fall on a HC but this year obviously proved KOC is far from being any thing negative for this franchise I now feel like it was growing pains and it was game for game what a competitive rebuild I mean you mi e on from a guy like cousins and you fire Zim who built a top 5 D and spielman who did so many amazing things for this team for many years having said all that it’s been a smooth transition that really only saw about 1/3 of a season of turmoil what a great job by all the guys who work to crate the product that takes the field in August
Playoffs and playoff type games.. you need to think outside of the box ~ imagine : 1st downs being 20yrd each ~ * drives become quicker & the field gets real short . 🤔 ~

Lions had a hard time beating a depleted 49r team. If Moody hadn't missed those 2 field goals and an extra point, the outcome would have been different. Lions defense will be carved up.

KOCs biggest error on Sunday was not giving special mention game balls to the O line. It was their best game of the year

Back in the day, Bill Parcells was a “must listen to” as a head coach. KOC is now in that league. You can’t not watch every UA-cam video he’s on!
