@jh94 I only recorded a couple of episodes of TPS and I don't think that I ever recorded Art Attack, even though I was a regular viewer. Did you know that there used to be a Transylvania Pet Shop strip in the comic Buster around this time.

1:20 Nesquik are still my favourite chocolate cereals since I was little. 1:40 3 heads for 3 ice creams, now that's a new record! :3

Seeing a commercial for Wall's ice lollies has made me post this comment here:
Who remembers the following lollies they used to make:
Freaky Foot (vanilla ice cream with a strawberry ripple)
Big Gum (vanilla and raspberry ice cream)
Kick Off (vanilla and strawberry ice cream)
Mr. Long (lemonade and strawberry water ice)
Spider-Man (strawberry water ice with blue bubblegum water ice filling)
Dennis the Menace (strawberry and cola water ices, with a chocolate coating and chocolate vermicelli)
I'd say, the reason the Big Gum was discontinued, was that the Finnish agency, that Wall's acquired it from, went bust, and they were unable to move on.
The other five - the Freaky Foot, Kick Off, Mr. Long, Spider-Man and Dennis the Menace - were possibly discontinued just because they were popular at the times they were made, but needed a change.
The only way I'll ever be able to bring these lollies back is with time travel.

shermanvermin76 This may sound mad - but I've been looking for information (a picture or anything!) on Mr. Long ice lollies. I had a friend a few years back who believes that I made the whole thing up. I'd love to have evidence to prove him wrong, it's been driving me nuts! I LOVED Mr. Longs! Do you know anything more? Even Walls themselves wouldn't give me information!

Mr. Long was a lemonade and strawberry ice lolly.
I have a picture of them, but I don't know how I could send you it (do you remember all the other five lollies I described?)
If you do (even if you don't, but are still interested), I'll additionally tell you what the other five lollies looked like.
For some reason, Mr. Long ice lollies had an image of an African-American basketball player. The wrapper was a bluish colour.
I'd say Walls discontinued them (as well as Kick Off lollies, Spider Man ice lollies, Dennis the Menace ice lollies and Freaky Foot lollies) as they were popular at the time but needed a change.
Walls possibly discontinued Big Gum lollies owing to the Finnish agency they acquired them from going bust, and being unable to move forward.

That's right! I'd love to see the picture, can you upload it to your google+ page perhaps? I do remember the Spider Man and Dennis the Menace lollies - they were great too.
Yeah, I thought so. I assumed because of the era it may have been Michael Jordan!
It's a shame that they discontinued them. I fancy one right now, even in winter! I bet they're smaller than I remember.

Am I right that the Spider Man lollies were strawberry on the outside and blue bubblegum on the inside, and Dennis the Menace lollies were strawberry and cola and had a chocolate coating with chocolate vermicelli?
Do you definitely remember the Kick Off lollies? Do you also remember Freaky Foot lollies, and Big Gum lollies?

That certainly sounds about right! Unfortunately I'm not much help with regards to detail, though, because it's all just a hazy, childhood, summer memory for me. I do remember the kick off lollies though. Not too sure about the other two... freaky foot is vaguely familiar!

Alphabet castle blimey that takes me back.
Hiding behind my nan's sofa clutching my toy cap gun (4 year old me was a right blooming scared cat, that and zzzap used to terrify me!)

@MrHammadmossop1988 Well they did used to show programmes for young children at 3:30 but I can't remember what ones on what day, I'll take your word for it.

@MrHammadmossop1988 I thought that this clip was either from July or August, thanks for confirming a date.

@jh94 I don't know how much Art Attack material I have left to upload but it's not much, so I would definitely support a DVD release.

@TVajb More *July* than August, since I was still at school when I saw that promo from 2:05 (is that Louis Armstrong singing?) when I was still at school.
What two episodes of TPS did you record and *why* did you only record *those* two and not all forty of the episodes from 1995 to Thursday the 27th of August 1998 which are the ones never released on VHS? The only episodes of it that you can get on VHS are the twelve from season 1 (aired Thursday 16 June 1994 to Thursday 1 September 1994)?

(*third* comment!) @TVajb Bungle in the Jungle
    Pirate Parrot
    Double Trouble
    Halloween Horse Race
Where Mouse (the penultimate episode of season 1)
Gorilla Thriller (the last episode of season 1) [though not the last episode of the whole *show*]
Also, most sources say the last two episodes of season 1 are 'Double Trouble' and 'Halloween Horse Race' but these are the *penultimate* two episodes; the last two episodes of the 1994 season (season 1) are actually 'Where Mouse' and 'Gorilla Thriller'.

(comment continued) @TVajb I wish Transylvania Pet Shop would come to DVD (if and when it *does*, it'll definitely be released in Region *2*); I've already seen the two episodes which *used* to be here 'From Transylvania with Love' and 'Orangutans and Lemmings' but the episodes I'm eager to see are those besides:
Welcome to the Transylvania Pet Shop (the pilot episode)
    Grime Does Not Pay
    Food Glorious Pet Food
    Bringing Up Horribaby
    Every Dog has its Show
    Ants in your Pants
