He rarely performs this song bc it's about his first love. He stopped performing it when she got married, and also bc he got pissed when VIPs didn't listen to him and still dug deep enough to find out who she is. He performed it during their last concert as a full group before he enlisted, he couldn't even come on stage for it, they had cameras on him backstage 😢💔 There was another performance of this where he looked so in pain, it's hard to watch. VIPs cherish the moments when he perform this song bc we know what it means to him.
This is a very personal song(same as ENL by Taeyang and Untitled by GD). Difference is he wrote this song years ago and truthfully i don't think he ever forget her because when she got married, he annnounced he will not perform this song on stage again. The last performance, he sings from backstage and never step on the stage.
There were a lot of rumour. The girl was not a celebrity, so when fans shared her photo online and harrassed her Top shared his views about this and warn fans to not harrassed her.
He had shared a story of a girlfriend he had since highschool and because he was training to be Bigbang, he had no time for her and she gave him an ultimatum and he choose his career. What happened after that was in the song. There was another performance of this song and it was heartbreaking to watch.
Just the way you ask Big Kai, why are you cheering to this song? The cheers for him was really loud and he was breaking down on stage(don't think he was acting although he is a good actor).
Yeah, TOP has really always been into artsy things so you'll often see him perform on the stage with dramatic effects or quirky images like in his Doom Dada music video where you saw him pay homage to Salvador Dali.
Can't wait until Big Bang are out of the military and back making music together.
And that's how live performance should be taken the audiences into his world do not need amazing stage & difficult dance move & effect...his last performance to this song at BigBang concert before he enlisted are 🔥 too, he even show up almost at the end & he was at the backstage yet we whom even watch it from video can feel it how deep is this song just by looking his back & from the way he sang/rap it, this song is 😭🔥 thank you Big Z Big Kai for BigBang 🙏💜

If I’m not mistaken he wrote this for an ex-girlfriend of his. You should also check out his performance of Oh Mom. It’s a song he wrote for a fan that was very sick (some said she died, but it’s not quite clear) and he only performed it once.
