The ending of the black walnut video with Sasha Siem (Frigga) singing I go blind was my first introduction to your channel. I have enjoyed your content ever since.
Good video Nathan, lots of great lumber and slabs milled today. Thanks for sharing with us, stay safe and keep up the great work and fun around there. Fred.
Thank you, Nathan. On this day after Thanksgiving, I am thankful for you and your videos. You have shown great care for the video quality from the beginning, particularly the variety of views.
Beautiful eastern red cedar aka virginia juniper. You need to save some of those knots for the fireplace around Christmas. They'll make your whole house smell wonderful.
Really loved this vid Nathan , vintage sawmilling here - though I must confess I do prefer your newer ones with your great choice of music and “ added blah blah blah “ 😅… a greater part of the charm for me is your easy accent and honest to goodness way of explaining things and your dry sense of humour . Keep on with the commentary and chat my friend ✊ 👍🏴
You must have needed to free up some space on your computer. I remember all those videos. You've come a long way since the LT35 days. Keep up the good work. Stay safe.
Gosh, there was some nice grain in that lumber Nathan. Did someone suggest you make a silent video? I think there is much more entertainment & certainly much more 'educational' value in having you talk & explain things as you work. Cheers, Don from South Australia.
LOL.... you keep saying that you'll hear the blade hit a nail and I never did... until today... i heard it... looked up and it said"HIT A NAIR"... after a few years one learns.....
I like the look & smell of cedar. I can almost smell it at your mill all the way to Alabama. What happened to "no talking"? You always do a good job explaining things about the mill or other things around the farm. Without talking, we would not know what you are doing some times. What's that?
Okay, you're the second of the top 5 YT'ers I follow that has posted one of these videos. I'll tell you the same thing I told the other one. I don't subscribe or watch your channel to listen to machinery sounds. I subscribe and watch for the content and THAT INCLUDES the dialog. There are other sawmill centric channels, I can switch to them in a heartbeat.
Milling a tree 30ft long all at once doesn't make any sense if they were just going to cut the boards to short lengths once it's sawn. Cool to see, but a complete waste of time for the business.

The smell of fresh cut red Cedar must be incredible!
Saw milling in the "bunny barn" before the new building. Terrific.
This is a regular review of years of work. Look what you've done.
Thanks!

LT 35, Black Walnut, 1/2 a beard. It's very simple and basic, but it's good to watch how you've progressed.
Someone sure does look young in these video's!
You must have needed to free up some space on your computer. I remember all those videos. You've come a long way since the LT35 days. Keep up the good work. Stay safe.

Save the sawdust and place it in an old sock and then place it in a clothes closet!
Boring your comments adds so much. FRIENDS

I love the WoodMizer LT70. Do you program the logs into the mill? Best wishes and blessings.

Who was that young guy cutting black walnut out in the field?

👌
Wish I had smellivison!
I had forgotten that the LT35 made it to the current farm, dunno why I thought ya had upgraded to the LT40 by then.
