I like the lauch method for the Crossfire. Me and a mate have a Mk1 Toyota MR2 tarmac rally car (Jenveys, Omex management, shorter final drive ratio, etc.), and he had problems launching it off the startline. Dunlop CR311 rally slicks and a drag race spec clutch made it bog down off the line. I've been a regular at the Pod for 30 years, so decided to try something. I said, it'll either work, or the car will break. I'll pay for any damage. So I loaded the clutch up on the start, wound it up to 6,000rpm, and sidestepped the clutch on the green light. It f*cked off sharpish, and didn't break anything. So that has become standard launch procedure. The spicy Escorts, etc. light up their rear tyres on launch, the MR2, being mid engined, hooks up and leaves hard. Worth a couple of seconds on stage time.
Great show again, great idea of buying cars for each other. Please say the next episode is fixing all that’s wrong. Then getting 285hp out of that car. And removing that cup holder(or maybe a supercharger)

@@christycullen2355 PT Cruisers are definitely overhated. They were cool at the time, but were never special enough to be preserved so became ratty embarrassing things to be seen in.
So Will got Edwin a reasonably tidy car and Edwin got a Ford man a fucking nightmare
Looking forward to the next episode. Very interesting set of cars and goals
Charlie deserves his own spinoff! What a legend!
Wanna see wills car again in more videos but I never wanna see Edwin's car ever again
My car has a repaired crash and I did a carvertical report on it for fun. There is nothing about the crash in there. The only entry is a milage, that the dealership entered when I bought a spare key. They only get info from brand dealers. So when you want to cover up that a car has been crashed, just go to an independent garage. As a sidenote, I testdrove a Zafira when I bought my first car. It handled like a lorry.
Think I would take the broken vauxhall over the dogs crap curve all day 🤣
8:52 woah woah woah!!!
I love these videos best car Chanel in the uk. If this was an auto Alex video the first 2 mins where you reveal the cars would have been dragged over 2 30 min videos that would have taken 2 months to come out
That seamless transition to a car vertical ad was the best by any channel so far. Well done boys.
Dude i would take the crossfire over that dreary vauxhall any day of the week.
18:21 is pure gold 💀
THE REASON THE CUPHOLDER IS ANNOYING IS BECAUSE YOU ARE SITTING ON THE PASSENGER SIDE! THIS CAR IS MEANT FOR NORMAL COUNTRIES THAT DRIVE ON THE LEFT SEAT! THE CORRECT SIDE! 🤔🙄
Wrong. Correct side is the right side. Every other country is wrong. Rule Britannia 🫡
Well a simple fix would be to make the cupholder work for the drivers side of the country it will be sold in, it’s already getting the dash redesigned just redo the whole interior
I love how jaded the dyno guy is. Very entertaining
Love this challenge idea! Hope to see more of it from you guys
The Dino guy is hilarious! We need to see more of him!😅
I appreciate how you guys revealed the cars, had a drive, inspected them, dyno'd them and raced them all in one video. Other channels would have separate videos for all those things. Cheers!
Edwin being comically taller than the Vauxhall in the CarVertical ad absolutely got me 🤣
This video is perfection! I’m roughly the same age as you and if I were to d**k about and buy something cheap and second hand, it’s like you’re reading my mind. And to actually see the stats on a dyno! Superb stuff lads! Keep it up!👍
Lots of BMW warning sounds in this video 😂
Can i just say, this whole AutoAlex universe is amazing.
Keep making videos!!
These lads are rapidly making this one of the most watchable car channels on UA-cam, keep up the good work!
Your mechanic and rolling road guy were great additions, we need to see more of them.
That Vauxhall inspection had me 🤣
That Zafira is so uncomfortably cool
Great episode right here 💪 can't wait to see the Zafira tuned and serviced to see what its got, asbo dad car for the win 😅
4:46 i love how one arm goes crazy, and the other does fuck all, just vibin'
honestly the best part of these videos is just getting to watch josh.
