Ive met some really well trained, socalized Pitts in my life. They are extremely loveable when brought up in the right environment just like any other dog.
Yep, really irks me when people act like pitbulls are a 'dangerous' breed.... They're about as dangerous as any other dog. It all depends on how they're raised.
@@crankiestnebula Pitbulls are still significantly more dangerous than any other dog. They make up the vast majority of canine deaths. A few 'cool' training videos aren't proof that they are a safe breed.
@@jorami4838 you're right, in the wrong hands a pitbull can be dangerous just like any other dog, they are less tolerant if you do not train them and socialize them. So yes if you're not a very good dog owner don't get a pitbull, most behavioral issues from dogs come from poor dog owners.

A dog, much like people, has the capacity to be good or bad, training is all it takes. Sorry you had to experience that, I also had a dog bite me, luckily all I got was a scar and 5 rabies shots, and nothing permanent
When I was 10 I got the same the same experience, almost lost my right eye, and it was my cousin's dog, I trusted and loved that dog, but after the bite I got terrified of dogs for some years, but when I was 12 I lost my fear and now it's all cool, I love dogs again but I'm always aware of the dogs sign, and even 11 years after the bite, I still got the bite's mark close to my eye.
Except when it comes to releasing a bite. They didn't show that in the three attacks they showed. There's probably a good reason that they didn't show the Pit Bull ever stopping the attack or releasing the bite.
This guy has made himself into a multimillionaire by breeding these dogs under the most stringent training programs on the planet. These dogs don't get sold to just anyone. You've you to have about $100k for one of his dogs and you're obviously paying for more than just the dog.
It is amazing how keen and precise this dog is. He waits and watches for what he deems aggressive, as soon as he sense it, he's getting after it. I don't know how you did that, or what your feeding him, but I like it. That's a protector if I've ever seen one.
Pitbulls are hardcore but so loving and devoted. That's a really well trained dog. It's a shame that some people don't train them properly and give the breed a bad name.
That is a natural instinct for many pit bulls. Years ago when my young grandson would stay when he went to bed she naturally went to bed with him laying between him and the door facing the door. I had no doubts about what would happen if the wrong person walked in his bedroom. Believe me if you are ever lucky enough to have one like that know that only happens once in a lifetime

Pointing and requesting objects and carrying a basket in his mouth. You guys wouldn't have believed it. I'm convinced dogs are almost as smart as humans now.
Pits have one of the highest aptitudes for training of almost any dog. In fact, a lot of their stereotypical misbehavior actually comes from their high desire to learn and their even high desire to please. You need to carefully manage their training or you risk them getting the wrong idea about stuff.
I've looked into these dogs because I want one so bad and they're beautiful animals. Truly worth the money spent because the training is on point! And these dogs are gorgeous too!

People should also recognize the training that goes into the family as well. You can train a dog to be protective, but you also need to train the family on how to properly manage such a dog. Without proper owner management, this training quickly fails as the dog will try to be the alpha pack leader once back home.

Pits are pretty smart
@@bezoticallyyours83 Pits are very energetic. A calm owner with some TLC can do better than any training. My Pitbull was owned by several people before i adopted him and got dumped back in the shelter every time... Now he just plays with neighboorhood kids, doesn't care about much else but his peace, his friends and myself of course. A hyped up dog is not a good protection, a calm dog is.
For any creature a normal calm life is better and helps them make the right decisions. You can see that in wild animals just the same. A pack leader among wolves, lions etcetera is always the calmest. Dog experts like Milan know this. Your dog will know when you are tense.
