My uncle has a pretty big pitbull. He taught her since she was small to always approach people with her back to them. Might sound odd but instead of pouncing people out of excitement as another dog would she'd run up and turn her butt to a guest. That way the guests aren't as afraid and feel more welcome to pet her when her mouth is distant. She's a real great dog and people are always afraid of pit bulls. This little thing he taught her I thought was ingenious as people become a lot less afraid of her. Some people even get a good laugh at how she greets them.

If you want the best you have to dig down deep into the moneybag and if it’s protection I think I would rather have the dog than pay a company for a bodyguard. So we've been training our pitbull and he was 92 pounds when we saved him and 5 months of training he's up to 127 so we've mad progress and hope to make him to be a amazing protection dog.
It is beautiful to watch them in training. I experienced how much they love being trained with my own American Bulldog, Grace. She is my profile picture. She was large for breed at 137 lbs. I lost her Dec 10th of 2023. She loved to learn and practice. She was a beautiful girl. I love large dogs and love watching them train. Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful babies.

I HATE it when people say that pitbulls are mean dogs!! I have 2 pitbulls and one of them is very nice. The problem is if their was someone trying to hurt me, my dog would not do anything but lick the person. That is how nice he is. But pitbulls can be both only when they need to. A lab could be more aggressive than a pit. So people should definitely not judge pits or underestimate them.
