Not diploma but university like MUHS had a fellowship in oral surgery after BDS. You have to check individual universities for the same..

If you planning to get PR and then give exams. Once you are there you can do general work (including assistant- made a video about it. check that) and give exams. But you can't work as a dentist even if you do MSc or any course till you clear the exams.

To be an oral and maxillofacial surgeon do MDS after bds in it.. then learn about botox hair transplant and other procedures to do facial cosmetics.. currently dentists are not stopped from practicing it..

I don't know of dnb courses. No exams only criteria is should have completed bds.. in india most universities provide fellowship and not diploma.. check out dy patil, manipal and srm among others for different fellowships .

Hi we don't recommend or suggest any course. Ask someone who has recently completed them.

In India we have MDS not MSc. MSc is the masters degree given in countries like the UK. In India you will find fellowships given by various universities.

How is MSc in UK different from mds in india, also can this be considered as an alternative route if I don't write neet.Also can i do Invisalign on patients in india if I learned MSc orthodontics
MSc is similar to MDS. Invisalign company has a rule that they only let post graduates tie up with them. There is no such rule in DCI that general dentists can't do orthodontics.
So mostly invisalign company will be okay working with MSc post graduates. Still contact the company.

Only BDS and MDS degrees are valid. Rest all only help you improve your skills and prove to employees that you have studied to improve your skills. Experience is considered from BDS or MDS onwards not fellowship.
What about doing M.S.C in implantology in U.K.How much it will cost

I am a bds graduate , as of now I am interested in surgical fields like impaction , cyst enucleation and I want to do even cleft and fracture cases .
My idea is to put my own clinic with facial esthetic practices and even orthodontics along with surgery .
As of now I don't have investment to do MDS maxillofacial surgery .
So I find out a Pg diploma course on maxillofacial surgery and implantology . Even 6 months course for orthodontics and 6 months course for facial esthetics.
My question is if I do 2 years of Pg diploma whether I will get chance to work same as a maxillofacial surgeon ? In course syllabus I had found quota for factures also but whether I will be able to do it on my practices ? Weather I will get hands on to surgery in hospital sector?

There is no such list. There are fellowship available in implants, endodontics, esthetic dentistry, cosmetology and forensic dentistry.

No. It is not based on neet MDS score. You can find the entire process and cost on their website.

f you keen on joining a college as staff MDS is compulsory and MSc won't help (in India). But remember jobs are less currently in colleges in India.

MHA that is masters in hospital admin is an option. But Army and Aiims wala MD in hospital admin is only for MBBS graduates🙂.

Currently as a BDS also you are allowed to do orthodontic treatment. So if you learn well in any country you will be allowed to practice if you have a BDS degree.

Not in other countries in India you can practice. Other countries have their rules. Each country has a specific system. So you need to qualify to practice there.

No degree other than BDS and MDS recognized by DCI..

Yes there are a few clinical dentistry courses in which they give hands on experience. Some of them are like a finishing school where you get to do all treatments. based on your area you need to find the closest one.

If you do masters in Canada still you can't practice there till your BDS is recognized. About MSc in anatomy i honestly don't know if there is a lot of scope after doing it. Research maybe but I don't know much about it.

MSc in a dental subject is what I meant. It is a dental masters degree (not the BSc and MSc).
In some countries like UK masters in a few dental fields are available with the final degree called MSc.🙂

All don't get into the subject of their choice in MDS in India, second it might be expensive if no merit to do MDS, third it takes 3 years and in some colleges MDS is not worth it.
So MSc helps overcome those problems. Plus a foreign degree allures some. It's all a choice.

Sir, after mbbs students have to clear MCI screening test. Is there any this kind of exam in bds?
Currently here is no such exam. But there is a NEXT exam proposed for all BDS students before they can start practice. When will it begin is not sure. Mostly will be there in 2 to 3 years.

Many colleges take in graduate from any field for their masters in veterinary science program.

In India we have mostly fellowship programs. MSc are usually seen abroad. You can search for them through Google.

If you planning to get into research then maybe.. but again what after PhD you need to think.. the reason I am asking this is you shouldn't be confused after studying all this at the end.. knowing end goal is important and one more degree can't be the end.. in the end what you do with the degree matters..

Actually mba has a lot of options like human resources, marketing, economics and so on. We advice all to find their source of interest and select an MBA accordingly.
Can we do two fellowship in same year?
Depends on whether it's a full time or part time fellowship. Possible to do 2 of those which require you to be there only for few days every month..

Hi, this is a highly debatable topic. Currently a lot of dentists have done cosmetology courses from india and abroad.
Many are providing really good treatments as well.
But currently some doctors including dermatologists are trying through legal methods to see that dentists shouldn't be allowed to do so.
But as of now there is no rule which states dentists can not do facial cosmetology procedures.

Can a Dental Surgeon do hair transplant ???
Hi this is extremely controversial now.
There are a lot of dentists successfully doing these procedures. But in some states dermatologists are opposing dentists getting into it. Till now there is no specific rule by the DCI or MCI which I am aware of which states dentists can or can not do it.
Maybe we might have guidelines in the future.
