I have been struggling hardcore with despair and sadness over the last few days. All of a sudden these videos began appearing in my feed! God sent me to Father Blount's videos for a reason!

It's almost like trying to force water out of a rock at times. I watched probably a dozen of father Blount videos to try to find a secret formula. I prayed for joy, even did the first Saturday yesterday. When things and thoughts keep going against you, how is one supposed to manufacture joy? It just seems so fake to be joyfu when l clearly conditions are not.

When I was trying to learn the Rosary, I googled how to pray the rosary and the first thing that came up, was Fatima Documentary which link me to Father Galloway. He show us how to pray the Saint Joseph prayer, and I didn’t know that was Saint Joseph Consecration Prayer. I have been praying to Saint Joseph ever since then.

I would counter by asking why people are alarmed about him? What is your source to say that he has cancelled his engagements or is otherwise in trouble? So far I've been to the SOLT website and I found no mention of his illness or other canceling or canceled engagement. Moreover he preached in London and someone put up a UA-cam video of it a few weeks ago so he couldn't have been in bad shape then

Fr Blount has found that there is a need to integrate the different gifts of the Holy Spirit for a more effective service. “United for the Glory of God” is the principal objective for the Spiritual growth of the people of God . The Catholic Charismatic Renewal has as its priority, the Evangelization and Catechesis of all the Vicariates that are part of our Catholic church.
Actually it is according to theologians and spiritual writers. In this case the imagery here is medieval like Dante's imagery of heaven. Spiritual writers and doctors of the church have always talked about how God is like a consuming fire and the fires of hell and purgatory and all those other states come from contact with the consuming fire of God.
@FaithHopeandLoveMinistry "consuming fire" is undoubtedly biblical and attributed to God in the Bible, but not an "inferno" within God Himself. This Holy fire consumes sin and unholiness. However, there is only purity and holiness within God Himself, within the Trinity, so it makes no spiritual sense for the term "inferno", with its strong, hellish connotations, to be used to describe the eternal sinless state of being of our most pure, holy and beautiful God. "What does light have to do with darkness"?! I ask rhetorically.
@FaithHopeandLoveMinistry to add an illustration to my previous reply, if I may: The Ark of the Covenant contains holy objects instituted by God. Anybody who touches the Ark in an unholy manner dies on the spot, is consumed right then and there by the overpowering holiness that emanates from God and from the objects He imbues with His holiness according to His perfect purpose. However there can be no smoldering piece of coal mined from Hell inside the Ark. If it were so, the Ark would no longer be holy and it would lose its consuming power. "A house divided against itself cannot stand. " There is no inferno raging inside of God, only purity, love and holiness. God consumes sin outside of Himself, not within Himself where there is no sin.
And again in the mystical tradition that develops out of scripture we sometimes have the idea that the love of God is what lights up the fires of hell this implies that reaction to God and to God's love is the inferno active in all three states of being. Again the whole thing about inferno reminds me of Dante for obvious reasons. It would be interesting to see if he is part of that mystical tradition that works the consuming fire of God with the states of each please /state of being
Thank you for your replies and for explaining this further, but this is really stretching the imagery beyond what the Bible describes. Stylistically, an "inferno" of "unending joy" within the Trinity is an oxymoron/a contradiction in terms. Spiritually, there is a strong contradiction here as well, which I tried to explain previously with the analogy of the Ark of the Covenant. Additionally, to state that the Holy Trinity is in a perpetual state of an infernal "joy" at the suffering of His children, both saved and unsaved, in the fires of purgatory and hell respectively, would imply that God takes some kind of a sadistic pleasure in the punishment of His children. Nowhere in the Bible does God portray Himself - since the Bible is His Logos, His written Word to us - as a sadistic punisher who enjoys the suffering of His children. Rather He doesn't want anyone to perish. There are those who do not choose God back, who disobey Him and rebel against Him and He has no choice but to give them over to Satan whom they implicitly or explicitly chose over Him. Having said that, God doesn't then spend eternity with His beloved bride by His side, those who chose Him back, internally rejoicing at the hell sufferings of those who rejected Him. This would make Him a sort of sadist, as mentioned above, and that contradicts the character of God illustrated by the Bible. Last but not least, hermeneutically an "inferno" of "unending joy" within the Trinity is an overinterpretation of the biblical text, and it portrays God in an unfavorable manner by conflating attributes of Satan, the enemy of God, with God's holy and perfect characteristics, rendering Him less than perfect which is impossible. It is your prerogative to believe what the mystics of the Church say. I am more of a Sola Scriptura type of a believer.

Never said I was “alarmed,” but of course I’m concerned for all my brothers, and sisters and priests. I don’t see anything wrong with being concerned and missing him.

How can there be an "inferno" of "unending joy" within the Trinity?? Inferno is not suited to this context.
Actually it is according to theologians and spiritual writers. In this case the imagery here is medieval like Dante's imagery of heaven. Spiritual writers and doctors of the church have always talked about how God is like a consuming fire and the fires of hell and purgatory and all those other states come from contact with the consuming fire of God.
@FaithHopeandLoveMinistry "consuming fire" is undoubtedly biblical and attributed to God in the Bible, but not an "inferno" within God Himself. This Holy fire consumes sin and unholiness.
However, there is only purity and holiness within God Himself, within the Trinity, so it makes no spiritual sense for the term "inferno", with its strong, hellish connotations, to be used to describe the eternal sinless state of being of our most pure, holy and beautiful God. "What does light have to do with darkness"?! I ask rhetorically.

The Ark of the Covenant contains holy objects instituted by God. Anybody who touches the Ark in an unholy manner dies on the spot, is consumed right then and there by the overpowering holiness that emanates from God and from the objects He imbues with His holiness according to His perfect purpose.
However there can be no smoldering piece of coal mined from Hell inside the Ark. If it were so, the Ark would no longer be holy and it would lose its consuming power. "A house divided against itself cannot stand. "
There is no inferno raging inside of God, only purity, love and holiness. God consumes sin outside of Himself, not within Himself where there is no sin.
And again in the mystical tradition that develops out of scripture we sometimes have the idea that the love of God is what lights up the fires of hell this implies that reaction to God and to God's love is the inferno active in all three states of being.
Again the whole thing about inferno reminds me of Dante for obvious reasons. It would be interesting to see if he is part of that mystical tradition that works the consuming fire of God with the states of each please /state of being

Stylistically, an "inferno" of "unending joy" within the Trinity is an oxymoron/a contradiction in terms.
Spiritually, there is a strong contradiction here as well, which I tried to explain previously with the analogy of the Ark of the Covenant.
Additionally, to state that the Holy Trinity is in a perpetual state of an infernal "joy" at the suffering of His children, both saved and unsaved, in the fires of purgatory and hell respectively, would imply that God takes some kind of a sadistic pleasure in the punishment of His children.
Nowhere in the Bible does God portray Himself - since the Bible is His Logos, His written Word to us - as a sadistic punisher who enjoys the suffering of His children.
Rather He doesn't want anyone to perish. There are those who do not choose God back, who disobey Him and rebel against Him and He has no choice but to give them over to Satan whom they implicitly or explicitly chose over Him.
Having said that, God doesn't then spend eternity with His beloved bride by His side, those who chose Him back, internally rejoicing at the hell sufferings of those who rejected Him. This would make Him a sort of sadist, as mentioned above, and that contradicts the character of God illustrated by the Bible.
Last but not least, hermeneutically an "inferno" of "unending joy" within the Trinity is an overinterpretation of the biblical text, and it portrays God in an unfavorable manner by conflating attributes of Satan, the enemy of God, with God's holy and perfect characteristics, rendering Him less than perfect which is impossible.
It is your prerogative to believe what the mystics of the Church say. I am more of a Sola Scriptura type of a believer.
